  • Back in fighting shape: Mission Impossible 4 actress Paula Patton shows off her bikini body in teeny two-piece

Just one year after giving birth to her first child, Mission Impossible 4 actress Paula Patton has slipped back into a string bikini.
The Los Angeles native was joined by her husband, R&B singer Robin Thicke, today as she strutted around the beach in Miami, Florida.
Wearing a tiny brown string bikini and Chanel sunglasses, Paula, 35, showed off her curves as she frolicked in the water.
Later, the svelte star drew looks of admiration as she took a break from working on her tan and relaxed under an umbrella.
In April of 2010, the actress and her Grammy Award-winning husband, who is the son of actor Alan Thicke, welcomed their first child, a son named Julian Fuego.
Paula is in Miami this weekend promoting her latest films, at the 15th annual American Black Film Festival.
The actress won critical acclaim in 2009 for breakout role as a concerned teacher in the gritty, Academy Award-winning film Precious.
The star, who attended film school at the University of Southern California has recently seen her career soar.
In May, she starred in the urban comedy, Jumping the Broom which cost just $6 million to make and earned nearly $40 million.

Nudism helped me to love my body at last

When friends told me about Britain’s first naturist spa hotel in Birmingham — Clover Spa, which opened in March — I couldn’t help but giggle as they expressed their horror at the very idea of holidaying naked.
They pondered the discomfort of sunburned bits and shuddered at the thought of baring all for the world to see. Little did they know that I’d already been to a naturist spa, and loved it.
I have always been insecure about my body. In fact, for the first year of our relationship, my husband never saw me naked in daylight.

Secret nudist: Kerry's confidence soared after a visit to a 'clothing optional' hotel
In the morning, when I was having a shower, I would pull the blinds in the bathroom to keep it in semi- darkness. In the bedroom, I favoured candlelight.
Though it may sound silly to some, back then, my body felt like the stuff of nightmares — I have stretch marks, dimples and lots of flabby bits.
On a good day, seeing myself naked would prompt me to go to the gym on my way to work. On a bad day, it would cause me to spiral into depression.
A year into our relationship, Joe and I got married at his father’s home in Florida. Surely, now that we were wed, I’d feel more at ease?
I wasn’t. In fact, being in Florida made the situation worse.
While the family frolicked on the beach in tiny bikinis and swimming trunks, I watched from a sun lounger, sweating under a long black skirt and T-shirt.

Voluptuous Playboy model Shauna Sand leaves little to the imagination as she hits the beach in a tiny green bikini

With her ultra curvy figure, tiny green bikini, and long blonde hair, former Playboy model Shauna Sand certainly made an impression as she hit the Miami beach today.
The 39-year-old model showed off her somewhat striking figure in the itsy bitsy two piece, which left little to the imagination.
The former Playmate splashed around in the surf, at one point even running into the sea, revealing an ultra toned figure.
The green bikini also showed off the model's deep tan to optimum effect.
But there was no sign today of Sand's 25-year-old husband Laurent Homburger, following recent reports that the pair were getting a divorce after just one year of marriage.
The New York Daily News reported that Sand was seeking an end to the marriage after a turbulent few months which saw her file a restraining order against Homburger after both were arrested following an argument in May.

Strike a pose: The former Playmate showed off her deep tan as she hit surf
Killer curves: The star showed off a playboy tattoo on her stomach as she frolicked in the sea
Sand was previously married to Frenchman Romain Chavent who she divorced in 2008 after two years of marriage.
The model is known for her roles in TV shows Charmed and Renegade, where she met her first husband Loerenzo Lamas, who she wed in 1996, the same year she was named May's Playmate of the month.
They have three children together Alexandra, 13, Victoria, 11 and Isabella 10.

Pregnant at 15, daughter of Britain's most prolific single mother (And, of course, she's on benefits - just like mum)

She tells her children to do as she says and not as she does.
But the words of mother of 14 Joanne Watson – who receives more than £2,000 a month in state handouts – have fallen on deaf ears.

Her 15-year-old daughter Mariah is pregnant, the father has ‘left the scene’, and the youngster is about to start living off benefits.

Mrs Watson, 40, is raising her giant brood alone after parting from her husband John, 46, three years ago, and breaking up with subsequent partner Craig le Sauvage, 35, last year.
Despite this, she has still managed to squirrel away enough cash for a £1,600 breast enhancement and a sunbed. She claims she has always encouraged her daughters to use contraception – but, inevitably, it seems they would rather follow the family tradition.

Mariah’s pregnancy comes after Mrs Watson’s oldest daughter Natasha, 22, got pregnant with her son Branford, now six, when she was 16. Her second eldest daughter Shanice, 19, also got pregnant at 16 with her 22-month-old son Marley.

Mariah says she has no concerns about becoming a teenage mother, as it seems the most natural thing in the world. Initially, she and her child will be supported by the taxpayer.

She is expected to move into a housing complex for single mothers and will receive supplementary benefit and child allowance for her baby.

The youngster, who is due to have a boy, said: ‘I’m not nervous. I’ve been around babies my whole life so I know what to expect and that I can handle it. The father isn’t involved and I don’t want him to be either. I’m really excited and think I will be a great mum.’
Mrs Watson, who had her first child at 18, said: ‘Of course no one wants their teenage daughters to get pregnant.

‘I’ve always urged them to use contraception – but if they refuse to there’s not much I can do about it. But I don’t believe in abortions, and Mariah wanted to have the baby, so now I just have to do my best to support her.

India Train Accident Leaves At Least 31 Dead, 100 Injured

Officials say the death toll from a train derailment in northern India has risen to 60 as more bodies are being pulled out of the mangled coaches.

The senior army official in charge of rescue operations at the accident site says volunteers and soldiers have pulled out 60 bodies from 12 coaches of the Kalka Mail, which went off the tracks Sunday afternoon.

Col. Amarjit Dhillon told the Associated Press on Monday that many more bodies were trapped under the twisted coaches and soldiers were using gas cutters to slice through the metal.

Rescue workers working through the night rescued many of the more than 100 injured in the accident near the town of Fatehpur in Uttar Pradesh state.

THIS IS A BREAKING NEWS UPDATE. Check back soon for further information. AP's earlier story is below.

FATEHPUR, India (AP) – Rescuers searched for survivors in the wreckage of a packed express train that derailed in northern India on Sunday afternoon, killing at least 31 people, while officials said a second train derailment hundreds of miles (kilometers) to the northeast appeared to have been caused by a remote-controlled bomb.

Rescuers were working to reach the second derailment, which occurred late Sunday night in a rural area of Assam state, injuring at least 100. The two railway incidents did not appear to be related.

In the first crash, the Kalka Mail train was on its way to Kalka, in the foothills of the Himalayas, from Howrah, a station near Kolkata in eastern India, when 12 coaches and the engine jumped the tracks at Malwan station, near the town of Fatehpur in Uttar Pradesh state, senior railway official A.K. Jain said.

The cause of the derailment was not immediately clear but it appeared that the driver applied the emergency brakes, Jain said.

At least 31 people were killed and rescue workers pulled at least 100 injured passengers out of the wreckage, said Brij Lal, a state police official.

Hours later, the second train derailed in the northeastern state of Assam, injuring at least 100 people, said S.K. Roy, a local magistrate.

Local police suspect that a remote control-triggered bomb caused four coaches of the Gauhati-Puri Express to be thrown off the tracks in the town of Rangiya, about 30 miles (50 kilometers) west of the state's capital, Gauhati, Roy said.

    S. Hajong, a local railways spokesman, said two of the four coaches plunged into a pond and casualties are feared.

Roy did not blame any rebel group and no one has taken responsibility for the attack so far. More than 30 groups in northeastern India have been fighting for decades for independence or wide autonomy in the region, about 1,000 miles (1,600 kilometers) east of New Delhi.

It was the third train accident in India in the last four days. A train hit a bus at an unmanned railway crossing last Thursday, killing 35 people.

In Fatehpur, the accident site was a pile of twisted metal. At least one coach flew above the roof of another ahead of it and was dangling precariously, television footage showed. Another coach was thrown away from the rest of the train.

Somalia Drought Is 'Worst Humanitarian Crisis': U.N. Photo Gallery

The head of the U.N. refugee agency said Sunday that drought-ridden Somalia is the "worst humanitarian disaster" in the world after meeting with refugees who endured unspeakable hardship to reach the world's largest refugee camp.
The Kenyan camp, Dadaab, is overflowing with tens of thousands of newly arrived refugees forced into the camp by the parched landscape in the region where Somalia, Ethiopia and Kenya meet. The World Food Program estimates that 10 million people already need humanitarian aid. The U.N. Children's Fund estimates that more than 2 million children are malnourished and in need of lifesaving action.
Antonio Guterres, the head of UNHCR who visited Dadaab on Sunday, appealed to the world to supply the "massive support" needed by thousands of refugees showing up at this camp every week. More than 380,000 refugees now live there.
In Dadaab, Guterres spoke with a Somalia mother who lost three of her children during a 35-day walk to reach the camp. Guterres said Dadaab holds "the poorest of the poor and the most vulnerable of the vulnerable."
"I became a bit insane after I lost them," said the mother, Muslima Aden. "I lost them in different times on my way."
Guterres is on a tour of the region to highlight the dire need. On Thursday he was in the Ethiopian camp of Dollo Ado, a camp that is also overflowing.
"The mortality rates we are witnessing are three times the level of emergency ceilings," he said. "The level of malnutrition of the children coming in is 50 percent. That is enough to explain why a very high level of mortality is inevitable," he said.
Dr. Dejene Kebede, a health officer for UNHCR, said there were 58 deaths in camps in one week alone in June.

Most of the deaths take place at the registration office and transition facilities of the refugee camps in the southeastern Dollo region of Ethiopia, the health officer said.

4 Things That Are Terribly Wrong With the Jack and Jill Trailer

Hey, remember how in Funny People Adam Sandler's character starred in a bunch of bad big-budget movies? Well, Sandler's dual-role comedy Jack and Jill, in which he plays a man and his own sister, totally seems like it could be one of those fake films. Except it's real, and it's less than spectacular. The trailer is full of lazy jokes and cliches — but before you watch, check out the four things that I've pinpointed as the most offensive elements.

    1. Katie Holmes is in this. I appreciate Holmes trying to add some comedy to her career, but why on earth she chose this movie for that purpose is beyond me.
    2. Adam Sandler doesn't need to make this movie. He's funny and certainly doesn't need the paycheck. Echoing the above sentiment: why?
    3. It's not funny. Where are the laughs? Sorry, Sandler in a wig and a dress isn't enough. They couldn't even spring for some good prosthetics?
    4. We've seen this movie before. It's called Norbit.

'Captain America' Still Photos: Chris Evans Stars In New Marvel Film

The summer of the comic book film is split between success and mild disappointment, and, so fanboys hope, Captain America is dashing in to save the day.

While both "Thor" and "Green Lantern" opened number one at the box office, the headlines were very different for the first two page-to-film extravaganzas: Chris Hemsworth and Natalie Portman helped Marvel's Norse God film to a surprising $65 million opener and strong subsequent performances, while Ryan Reynolds' CGI-happy DC adaptation sunk below expectations with a $53 million first weekend and cratering follow ups. Now, it's time for Chris Evans and his super patriotic super soldier flick to fight both off Nazis and potential public disenfranchisement with blockbuster superheroes.

To hype up the film, Paramount -- which just opened Transformers to a $180 million five day haul -- has released 20+ new images from both production and the final product, emphasizing Evans' buff, post-experiment, red white and blue costume-clad body over his pre-secret serum weakling Steve Rogers. Heavily stylized to match its World War II setting, the photos promise a lot of action -- and a little bit of romance, too (see: Atwell, Hayley for more on that)

"Captain America" hits theaters July 22nd.

Gwyneth Paltrow is Red Hot in a Tiny Bikini on Vacation With Apple, Moses, and the Spielbergs

Gwyneth Paltrow threw on a skimpy red bikini during a trip to Porto Cervo Saturday. She was with her kids, Apple and Moses, and godfather Steven Spielberg and his wife Kate Capshaw for the Italian getaway. The group spent the day on the beach throwing a frisbee, paddle boarding, and swimming. Steven had his video camera out to capture the fun outing and Kate toasted Gwyneth with a cold drink during lunch in the shade. Gwyneth was a little more covered up in a maxi dress when she, Steven, and Kate headed into town later that evening to shop with Apple and Moses. Yesterday the whole crew hung out on Steven's yacht and Gwyneth even took Moses for a spin on a jet ski. Gwyneth's brother Jake also joined her for the family vacation, though her husband, Chris Martin, didn't attend since he was performing with Coldplay at a music festival in Scotland.

Kate Hudson Gives Birth To Son: Actress, Matthew Bellamy Parents

Kate Hudson gave birth to a baby boy on Saturday in Los Angeles, Us Weekly reports.
The actress and Muse rocker fiance Matthew Bellamy are parents together for the first time; publicly dating since early 2010, Hudson told InStyle in April that a baby wasn't necessarily part of the plan -- not that she was complaining when she found out.
"Well, it wasn't like we didn't know what we were doing," she said. "There were no ovulation kits involved. We were tempting fate, and it worked... I didn't think I was going to have another kid until I was maybe 33 – that was in the back of my mind before I met Matthew. But we were so in love when it happened, it was just so exciting for both of us."
Hudson has a child, 7-year old son Ryder, from her previous marriage to Black Crowes rocker Chris Robinson. Hudson announced the pregnancy in January.

Rihanna's concert literally sets the stage on fire! Singer flees after blaze engulfs lighting rig

Rihanna's raunchy performances are known to be hot and fiery.
But the singer's stage literally caught on fire last night during a concert stop in Dallas as part of her Loud tour forcing her to cancel her performance.
The show started normally with the Bajan songstress singing and dancing on stage but when a light on a beam above the star set ablaze it caused panic in the American Airlines Center.

Scary: Rihanna was rushed off the stage at the American Airlines Center in Dallas last night after part of her set caught fire

Safety hazard: Fans of the Bajan star who were close to the stage had to be moved back when the blaze started
Rihanna, 23, was was quickly escorted from the stage when her crew noticed the trouble above.
The fire raged for up to five minutes with revellers screaming and taking pictures of the incident.
Fans who were near the front of the stage were moved back towards the exit doors.
CBS Dallas-Fort Worth report that the blaze started from the pyrotechnics that were built to bring a colourful backdrop to the Bajan star's stage show.

Relief: The Umbrella star nor anyone at the event were injured
Although stage hands put out the initial fire, the emergency services were also called.
Dallas Fire Rescue Captain Johnny Bates told the CBS affiliate that there were no serious problems as a result of the fire.
'One of our engine crews did enter the building but crew members with the AAC or concert put out the initial fire. Everything is under control and there are no injuries,' he explained.

Reaching out to fans: Rihanna posted a message on twitter after the incident
But the Umbrella star was upset that she had to cancel the tour date but said she would make it up to her fans.

Rihanna added that she was 'heading into a production meeting to find out exactly what happened'.

A woman reveals how she rebuilt her life after becoming both a widow and single mother at 24

It's the middle of the night when I wake up. Chris Mathews – one of my good friends and my husband Josh’s best friend – is at my bedroom door. We are visiting my sister Moo in Florida but Josh couldn’t come because of work.
Josh has been in an accident, Chris says. I picture a broken arm. But there is something in Chris’s voice that isn’t right. Moo comes in. There are frantic phone calls. My left leg starts to shake uncontrollably. I know. No one says it, but I know.
We leave for the airport. Back home in Michigan, my family is waiting. Dad drives to the hospital. Mum sits in the back with me and strokes my hair. I hold a pillow over my stomach. I am five months pregnant. We had just found out that we are having a boy.
At the hospital, I walk into Josh’s room and everyone leaves except Uncle Alex. Uncle Alex is a doctor. He actually delivered me and Josh. We thought this was a testament to the star-aligned quality of our relationship. Now Uncle Alex is standing over Josh’s pale, still body explaining how he died.
Last night, Josh went out carveboarding. A carveboard is a modified skateboard that rocks from side to side and imitates the motion of a surfboard. Josh was not wearing a helmet. He never did. ‘He fell backwards and hit his head. It crushed his skull into the back of his brain. He died in less than three minutes,’ Uncle Alex says.
Uncle Alex leaves and I cry relentlessly. My whole body shakes. I don’t touch Josh. I do not want to feel him cold. ‘I’m not angry with you,’ I say. ‘And I will take care of our son.’
Days pass. At the funeral, there are over a thousand people. Afterwards, I read Josh’s death certificate over and over: ‘Date of birth: 21 December 1979. Date of death: 17 June 2007. 1.21am. Trauma to the head.’ 17 June was Father’s Day.
More days pass. I see my obstetrician. I tell him I have this strange anxiety that my grief will attack the baby. He says: ‘You will be fine. Your body knows exactly what to do. But you need to work on your brain.’
He hands me a card: Dr Ellen Guriza, PhD, psychologist. ‘I’m not suggesting that you go and see her,’ he says. ‘I am instructing you, as your obstetrician, to see her. The sooner the better.’

‘Tell me about Josh. What kind of person was he?’ she asks. ‘He was amazing. He was a real man,’ I babble through my tears, telling her how he was the best at everything – a great driver, surfer, soccer player. His job – he was a sales rep for a medical supply company – was never a huge part of his identity, but he wanted nothing more out of life than to be a dad. Dr G tells me, ‘You’re going to cherish these memories.’ I nod but I don’t believe her.
At my next appointment, Dr G initiates another topic. ‘Natalie, let’s talk about your house. You need to start going back there.’ I don’t know what to say. In the month since Josh died, I have been staying with my parents. I hate going to my house. Everything is horrible. The sound the door makes when it opens. The pictures. Josh’s car in the drive. But the worst is the nursery. The day before Josh died he had cleaned out our old office for the new nursery. He was going to redo it while I was away and surprise me when I got home. Sometimes I forget that I didn’t just lose Josh, but I also lost my baby’s father. When I walk into the empty nursery something slams into me so hard it almost knocks me to the ground.

I don’t know if allowing Deedee to do this is OK but I go along with it. I just want it over and done with.
All my life, I’ve been the type of person who takes the accelerated route; normally it takes five to six years to train to be a teacher, I did it in four. When Dr G tells me that grief takes time, I want
to say, ‘But what about the smart kids?’ Yet one of the first things I’ve realised is that grief goes
    at its own speed.

Deedee does an amazing job with the decorating. I move back into the house, but on my first night alone, I can’t sleep or think.
I look for a book – I just want something light and funny. On the shelf I see Jelly Belly – one of my dad’s all-time favourites. It’s about a boy who goes to fat camp and hides food in his swimming trunks. We have it because Dad gave it to Josh to read. I open the book and tucked inside the front cover is a photograph of Josh and me dancing at our wedding. I feel a pain in my stomach. Josh always used photographs as his bookmarks. I think of him looking at it, smiling and saying to himself, ‘Yeah, I like this one.’
I return to my double bed with its single pillow and one body, but I don’t read Jelly Belly. I know
I will survive, but I hate my life.

I go to breakfast with a colleague and she keeps saying, ‘But really, you must be so thrilled to be pregnant, despite everything.’ I just stare at my plate. This is the most frightening thing in the world – to have a baby without my husband. Am I thrilled? No. I’m scared and sad.

'Harry Potter And The Deathly Hallows Part 2'

It All Ends Here. But then, the ending also has to have a beginning.

Nine new clips from "Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, Part 2," have been released to the anxiously waiting muggles of the internet, whetting their appetite once more for what promises to be an epic, all-out war of a series finale. Get ready for laughs, shrieks and, undoubtedly, tears -- but don't worry, even the most powerful boy wizard himself shed more than his fair share when it was time to say goodbye.

But will this be the end, forever? While JK Rowling is busy at work with Pottermore, and perhaps could write another new tale for Harry and friends in the future, but it'll take a lot of convincing to get Daniel Radcliffe to wear the rounded spectacles once again.

"I think that would be a bit odd. I'd be very skeptical about that. First of all, I don't think that [Rowling] will [write another Potter installment] and second of all, oh, I don't know, the idea of going back to something after 10 or 20 years?" he recently told the Los Angeles Times. "At that point, I will have worked 20 years to establish a career outside of it, and at that point to go back to it would feel a little self-defeating."

Archie Comics Bigshot -- Accused of 'Penis' Taunting

The female co-CEO of Archie Comics is accused of going on a phallic outburst in the office recently ... allegedly pointing at employees and shouting "PENIS, PENIS, PENIS, PENIS." Oh, Archie!

Archie Comics Publications has filed legal papers against co-CEO Nancy Silberkleit -- claiming she has a history of bullying and sexually harassing employees ... and she must be stopped!

According to the lawsuit, filed yesterday in NY, several employees have lodged complaints about Nancy's "offensive" behavior ... including one time in 2009, when she barged into a meeting and "pointed to each [attendee] and said, 'PENIS, PENIS, PENIS, PENIS' and then walked out."

Nancy allegedly pulled the same "penis" stunt again in 2010 -- but this time she also screamed out, "My balls hurt."

Archie Comics claims it hired an outside firm to investigate the allegations -- and the company recommended Archie cut ties with Nancy ASAP.

Now, Archie wants a judge to grant an injunction -- barring Nancy from returning to the office ... and preventing her from representing the company at the upcoming Comic-Con in San Diego.

Attempts to reach Nancy were unsuccessful.

Selena Gomez and Justin Bieber--Pregnancy Scare?

Selena Gomez and Justin Bieber are constantly being photographed in hot and heavy--aka rather compromising--positions. Friends and family members are reportedly fearing the imminent peril of a possible pregnancy scare.

According to OK Magazine, both Gomez and Bieber have been duly warned about what an unplanned pregnancy could mean for each of their careers. A source close to both stars has the following to say about the precarious situation.

"Justin's been told straight up that if he's having sex, he had better use protection. He's young and full of hormones, the last thing he and Selena need is to make a terrible and costly mistake," the source says.

"Everyone knows their intentions are good," the source adds, "but they also know how easy it is to get worked up when you're young and in love. It would only take a few moments of weakness to cause what could be a lifetime of regret."

Selena Gomez is just 18 years old and Justin Bieber is 17. However so many of their fans are mere children--most not even in their teen years. How might they react if they learned that their favorite stars were having a baby?

Fans wondered if Selena Gomez's recent hospitalization might have been a pregnancy scare, but it seems the Monte Carlo star was simply suffering from exhaustion and malnutrition. Hopefully these two are taking ample precautions amidst the heat of their teen passion to ascertain no pregnancy mars their incredibly promising futures.

‘People can get bored of item numbers’

Katrina Kaif doesn’t regret any of her decisions and feels people can get bored if every film has item songs

What excited you about ‘Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara’?
The film itself excited me. Whatever genre I work in, I try to ensure to check if it’s entertaining for the audience and that’s what I did for this film too. It’s a youth film and a lot about what our generation is feeling today. And you don’t have to do the same kind of comedies just because it’s working. So I wanted to be a part of this because it was a different film.

Every film is different, how is this any ‘different’?
Like ‘Ajab..’ was a commercial comedy aimed at kids and ‘Rajneeti’ was a serious drama, this in that sense is a different film and one that I felt that people will enjoy watching.

Do you have a checklist for selecting a role?
No, never. I follow a very general instinct. If I like something and it sounds like it’s going to fun, I go for it. I don’t calculate or check that the film has this or that. It should just be an entertaining film for the audience.

The film looks like it’s about three guys on a road trip. So have you been on one yourself?
I travelled a lot across Europe when I was growing up. But those were not so fancy as this and not so much fun either and I was very young then. I wouldn’t call this a road trip film though, it’s just a backdrop of the film. It’s more of a ‘coming of age’ film about these three guys at a turning point of their lives.

What were the challenges in playing your part in this film?
The challenges were in the adventure part of it but in a film like this when you have very good actors, it’s just that everyone plays their part and there are not many challenges.

In a multi-starrer like ZNMD, there’s a huge chance of getting lost, so how do you create your identity in the film?
You just have to try and do it. That’s part of the challenge.

Since it’s a fun film, did you guys have a blast on the sets?
It was definitely a very memorable experience. And I feel everyone just came together in a way. When you’re travelling constantly, going to different beautiful cities in Spain, everyone has to put aside their personal issues and airs for a while. And we did bond a lot and it was a special journey in a way for all of us.

Since you’ve been branded for your dance numbers, what are the pros and cons for the same?
I don’t think there can be any cons for it. But that doesn’t mean that every film should have a dance number in it. I think it’s wonderful that they’ve accepted and liked my songs and my dancing. But if it’s there in every film, they’ll get bored of it. You have to break it up. Like in Rajneeti, there were no songs. And at that time, songs were a huge part of what I was doing. The audience wants to see a complete entertainer, songs or not. The next film I’m doing with Imran Khan is a full-on musical and will have dance number again. So you have to keep changing.

Edwards gets debut ton as Windies battle

Kirk Edwards hit a century on his Test debut as West Indies reached 224 for six on the fourth day of the third and final Test against India in Dominica on Saturday.
West Indies have a lead of just 81 runs with four second-innings wickets remaining after three wickets near the close put the tourists back in command.

India lead the three Test series 1-0 and while West Indies theoretically still have a chance of levelling the series, the tourists will surely fancy their own chances of ending on a high with a second Test victory.

The only glimmer of hope for West Indies is that Shivnarine Chanderpaul, who in this Test broke the record for most Test appearances for the Caribbean team, is still at the crease having made an ultra-patient 73 from 201 balls.

Skipper Darren Sammy will resume with Chanderpaul on Sunday and with only the tail to come he will need to produce a real captain's innings if they are to set India a challenging target.

It could have been a different situation had Indian not picked up those three wickets late in the final session.

Barbadian Edwards finally went caught behind off Harbhajan Singh, the 26-year-old having made 110 from 195 balls and become the 13th West Indian to score a century on his debut.

Marlon Samuels lasted just three balls - trapped lbw by Harbhajan and then wicketkeeper Carlton Baugh was a victim of the new ball - pushing a simple catch to Abhinav Mukund off Praveen Kumar.

It was a soft end to what had been a solid and gritty recovery from West Indies after India had made early inroads before lunch.

Kieran Powell edged Ishant Sharma to Suresh Raina at third slip and then fellow opener Adrian Barath also played at a ball he could have left alone - diverting a Kumar delivery to Virat Kohli at fourth slip.

Minka Kelly Cheers Boyfriend, Yankee Derek Jeter's 3,000th Hit

The story will be about New York Yankee captain Derek Jeter becoming the first player in Yankee team history to eclipse the 3,000 hit plateau, but what about his girlfriend Minka Kelly?

As the cameras panned to Derek Jeter's family attending the game between the Tampa Bay Rays and New York Yankees, it was no surprise that actress Minka Kelly was right in the middle of the shot. The Friday Night Lights star, who is usually talked about for her hair, her fashion or her acting, was attending the game to watch her boyfriend reach the historic hit plateau.

With Minka at the game, showing off her newly styled curls, people might start to believe that she is Derek's good luck charm. Jeter went 5-5, as Ms. Kelly cheered from the stands and the Yankees won the game! Needing only two hits to reach the milestone, Minka brought him five.

Though she didn't Tweet about the occasion, ESPN's Kevin Negandhi was quick to suggest what Jeter should trade with the fan in the left field who caught the home run ball that was Derek's 3,000th hit. Negandi said on Twitter:

So far a date w Minka Kelly is your clubhouse leader for the Jeter request for the baseball.

Now that would be a request. It is doubtful that Jeter or Minka Kelly would go for it, but if the Yankee fan who caught the ball doesn't at least ask, he is probably nuts.

Harry Potter And The Deathly Hallows Part Two

HARRY Potter star Daniel Radcliffe revealed this week that acting had driven him to drink.
And I know exactly how he feels.
His acting's often driven me to drink too. Particularly during that difficult Half-Blood Prince "k.d. Lang lookalike" phase.
Yes, the Harry Potter film series has had more unsightly wobbles than Hagrid doing squat thrusts on a Power Plate.
Not just for Daniel - who, let's be clear, is brilliant in this final chapter. But in terms of looks, script, pacing, casting and everything else to boot.
When things clicked, boy did they click. Philosopher's Stone, Prisoner Of Azkaban and Deathly Hallows Part One all had an awesome, heart-swelling and uniquely British power that no other family fantasy film series could touch. (I'm looking right at you, Aslan old son.)
But when they didn't (all the others) the films were fiddly scene-by-scene replicas of books that really needed to be kicked into a movie-like shape before being put on the big screen.
The good news - the frickin' brilliant news, in fact - is that Deathly Hallows Part Two is a better ending than the saga probably deserves. Because not only is it the perfect companion piece to last year's brooding, suspenseful and frostily beautiful Part One, it's pure blockbuster cinema done right (not counting 10 minutes of unavoidable straight-from- the-book plot clunkery at the start).
The story kicks off with the same kind of brief, wordless scenes that set up Part One so well.
Lord Voldemort (Ralph Fiennes doing a Brian Sewell impression) has just pinched the Elder Wand from Dumbledore's concrete death bunker.
Snape (Alan Rickman, looking more and more like the lead singer in a Cure tribute act) is overseeing the Death Eaters taking charge of the remaining Hogwarts students, including Draco Malfoy (Tom Felton) and Neville Longbottom (Matthew Lewis, who finally gets a chance to shine and NAILS it).
And Harry, Ron and Hermione (Daniel, Rupert Grint and Emma Watson) have regrouped at Shell Cottage, before they continue on their quest to destroy the remaining horcruxes.
While the film doesn't make any efforts to explain this set-up to newcomers, there's unlikely to be any of them in the audience anyway.

Pregnant and proud: Jessica Alba drapes her curves in a summer dress as she says it's better to show a baby bump than hide it

She said earlier this month that she feels much happier showing off her baby bump than trying to hide it.
And Jessica Alba did just that as she stepped out with adorable three-year-old daughter Honor wearing a cute blush-coloured summer dress with a peach cardigan.
The 30-year-old actress took Honor to pick up some baby supplies at Bel Bambini in Beverly Hills before the arrival of the new addition to her family later this summer.
In a recent interview with Latina magazine, Spy Kids 4 actress Jessica said she had embraced the changes pregnancy has made to her body, and is proud of her new figure.
She said: 'If you are sporting a pregnant belly, it's better to show it than to hide it.
'The more figure-forming your clothes, even though you have more curves, the better.
Curves: Jessica said in a recent interview she would rather draw attention to her bump than try and hide it

The Only Way is gusty for Lydia Bright who struggles to control her dress as the TOWIE gang helicopter in for the Duke of Essex Polo Trophy

If you're going to be arriving for a social event by helicopter then you have to make sure that there will be no wardrobe mishaps on arrival.
Something which Lydia Bright clearly didn't take into account when she got out of a helicopter that had flown her to a VIP event in her native county today.
The Only Way Is Essex star was snapped struggling with her dress as she climbed out of a helicopter to join the rest of the cast at the Duke of Essex Polo Trophy in Gaynes Park, Epping.
Caught in the breeze from the aircraft's blades, Lydia unwittingly flashed her black sparkly pants as she started to walk across the lawn.
Realising what was happening, she grabbed her white dress and tried to pull it down before she cleared her windy path and laughed in embarrassment as she finally managed to smooth her frock down.
And she took to her Twitter page to post a picture of her with her co-stars and said: 'Me & the gals fab so far. Apart from the slight incident when my dress flew up from helicopter!'
Lydia was one of several members of the TOWIE cast attending what they consider the highlight of their summer social calendar.
Now fully bonafide VIPs since the huge success of their reality TV show, the gang were brought to this year's event by helicopter, giving them the full five-star treatment.
The gang never miss the event and it was where Lydia met James 'Arg' Argent a few years ago.
Peter was this year's guest of honour and opened the match by throwing a ball at the start of the game.
And Alex arrived with new girlfriend Chantelle Houghton who looked very pretty in a maxi dress with an unusual green, white and black print - although she had to call on Alex to help untangle her when she caught her heel on the hem.

Katy Perry Insists New Smurfs Flick is Family-Friendly

KATY Perry insists there will be none of her usual risqué antics on show when she takes to the big screen as a Smurf.

The sexy singer — who’s married to British comedian Russell Brand — provides the voice of Smurfette in this summer’s Smurf movie but she insists her performance and animated alter ego, unlike her music videos, will be completely family friendly.

“It’s a great film that all ages can enjoy,” says Katy.

“There’s no sneaky innuendo’s or sort of taboo things. It’s a positive story, it has a sweet side, there’s a great message. It’s just one of those ‘you can’t go wrong’ type of films. It’s very family orientated.”

Perry recently spoke of her love of the Smurfs.

“I love the Smurfs,” she said.

“They’re so cute. I want all the t-shirts and toys even now. In fact I should be getting them free with me being Smurfette. I can start a whole collection.”

CELEBRITIES are making a splash in seriously showy swimwear this summer.

A regular old two-piece just doesn't wash any more as reality stars and WAGs vie to be queen of the wahey-ves.
These days their cossies and mono-kinis are covered in flowers, ruffles, hoops and straps or piled up with more extras than a branch of Accessorize.
All hail the rise of the blingkini - a totally impractical but fabulous way to wear your swimwear.
Rihanna and Lady GaGa started the craze, stepping out on stage in daring two-pieces designed to cause a stir.

And now the TOWIE girls are getting their swimwear custom-made by blonde Chelce Hall.
The 20-year-old Essex girl was working behind a bar in Marbella when she started designing her own swimwear.
Today she works full time at home with her mum and dad in Chigwell to create made-to-measure pieces, and is branching out into evening wear with her new company By Chelce Designs.
Every bikini is made to measure - usually after a personal consultation - and can take up to four weeks.
Prices start at £65 and go up to more than £200, depending on the level of detail.
Chelce says: "I like being different. I've never wanted to look the same as anyone else.
"I started designing my own bikinis to stand out and soon people were commenting on them and asking me to make pieces for them.
"I've been friends with Lydia Bright for years and she was the first of the TOWIE girls to wear one of my designs.
"After she wore the 'Valentine' bikini, I had hundreds of enquiries - now there's a waiting list.
"Another favourite is the sunflower bikini that Chloe wore at the pool party.
"Flowers are definitely a big trend for the summer.

Get your bling on ... Lady GaGa and Rihanna perform in fancy two-pieces
"But the whole point of my swimwear is that it's different from anything else around, so once I've finished those orders I'll start on totally different designs to keep things interesting and individual.
"I know not everyone gets my designs. Some people would feel really silly in them and think they are OTT. They are meant to be fun but also stylish.
"Anyone can follow fashion but not everyone has style. It takes a certain type of person to carry off the more out-there looks.
"Today, people are dressing up for the day as well as the evening. Your poolside look is just as important as your going out look."

Steamy scenes are no big deal: Sulagna Panigrahi

Rubbishing rumours of her playing the bad girl in Murder 2, Sulagna Panigrahi, a name that burst into B-town out of nowhere and became part of the sudden wave of promotional rants and raves for the new film, Murder 2, talks about the fun and frolic she was part of on the
sets of the movie. And fun, according to this petite actress, is about crawling into a tunnel full of rats, running around in some remote location and many more such scary escapades.  “I play a 16-year-old innocent girl who’s fighting for her life. Mohit Suri (the director of Murder 2) showed me this horrid tunnel where I was supposed to shoot a scene among rats and asked if I was scared of them. Of course I wasn’t, but the rats were so tiny and cute that by the end of the shot, the whole unit was concerned if they were hurt; no one was really bothered about me,” she laughs.
Sulagna came into the spotlight after she did a television show on conjoined twins called Ambar Dhara. So how did the entry onto the big screen happen? “My producer Rajan Shahi fixed a meeting with someone at Vishesh Films. After that I met Mohit. His first reaction after seeing me was that I fit the role. I was at their office, sitting with Mukesh sir (Bhatt) and wondering if all this was a dream,” she gushes. Steamy scenes, skimpy clothes, sexy love-making…the Murder franchise is incomplete without all the sensuality. So were there any inhibitions before taking on this role? “When I got to know that the auditions are for Murder 2, I was pretty skeptical. Thankfully, I don’t have any such scenes in the movie. But nowadays steamy scenes are no big deal,” Sulagna says, contradicting herself.
Her recent photo, where she’s biting a chilly and showing off her toned midriff, has been doing the rounds of several publications lately. What went into creating such an interesting pose, a mix of an innocent face and a sensual aura? “I made sure I didn’t bite the chilly too hard, or else the picture would have turned out to be something else,” she jokes.
A recent role that fascinated Sulagna was Vir Das’ character in Delhi Belly. “I would love to have taken his place and sung Ja Chudail in the movie,” she says. And who is the one actor she would love to share screen-space with some day? “Aamir, Hrithik and Ranbir. I know I am supposed to name one, but it’s good to have options no?”
And how is working in TV different from films? “In TV, before you finish your makeup, there’s someone knocking at your door and calling you for the shot. Whereas in films, it’s much calmer; they just let you be and don’t pressurise you. In TV, if you ask a director for a retake, he will tell you that the tapes have already gone for telecast. So that’s the main difference. TV literally keeps you on your toes…phew!” she ends on a weary note.

Friends with benefits: Kate Moss in ship shape on £250,000 honeymoon with Jamie Hince on Sir Philip Green's £10m yacht

Usually it’s the groom who organises the honeymoon. But when the bride has a billionaire friend with a yacht going spare, it would have been rude to make other arrangements.
Which is why Kate Moss, 37, and her husband Jamie Hince, 42, are luxuriating on Philip Green’s £10million yacht off Corsica.
With chefs and masseuses at their beck and call, the newlyweds are enjoying every moment of their £250,000 two-week Mediterranean cruise, courtesy of her friend, the Topshop boss.
She asked military chiefs to divert or postpone flights at nearby RAF Brize Norton during the wedding for fear of the noise disturbing the  festivities.
The RAF, which initially refused, later agreed to her request. It was said that increased air traffic in the area, from helicopters hired by guests for example, meant it would be safer to divert some military flights.

Too many takeaways, boys? JLS keep covered up in new video, as topless Aston Merrygold is the only one to whip his shirt off and flaunt his washboard stomach

Marvin, JB and Oritsé may have indulged in one too many takeaways recently, as Aston Merrygold is the only member of the band to bare his torso in the new JLS video.
But while the remaining X Factor trio keep their shirts well and truly glued to their abs, there is plenty of flesh on display from the ladies in upcoming single She Makes Me Wanna.
As the boys took to Twitter this morning to promote the song, the quartet hinted their diets are not as strict as their choreographer might want them to be.
Last night they wrote: 'A kebab at the end of the night it may have to be #Wowsh. Oritsé x'
It was followed by a message this morning, saying: 'Bacon butties in the mornin for everyone!! Haha was a good night out! Ollie stepped UP! Oritsé x

Brooke goes goth on Broadway! Shields vamps up to play Morticia in The Addams Family musical

She looked a far cry from her usually demure girl next door persona, but Brooke Shields vamped up Broadway in a good way last night.

She’s dating one of the world’s most famous pop stars, but Selena Gomez is keeping cool about her relationship with Justin Bieber, saying they're just having fun.
