As her sister stared at her with a bemused look on her face, Sam Faiers appeared to be studying the Racing Post with intense concentration, looking for a hot tip.
But it soon became clear that The Only Way Is Essex girls didn’t really have a clue about odds and the 20-year-old was left out of pocket after her trip to Chester races.
The reality TV duo had donned their best fancy frocks and fascinators for the meet, but Sam failed to walk away with any cash after her flutter.
She tweeted: ‘Had a brilliant day at the Chester races! Although I lost all 3 races I betted on ;-( o well! Now going cruise x’
Sam, was dressed in a patterned dress with tulip skirt detail and strappy black heels.
She finished her look off with a silver fascinator on the side of her head.
Meanwhile her older sister Billie had opted for a dark grey bodycon dress which she teamed with a silver jacket.
