Justin Bieber escapes jail sentence over alleged road race

The 20-year-old pop star's plea deal with prosecutors, detailed at a court hearing, includes a 12-hour anger management course, a $50,000charitable contribution and fines. The deal allows Bieber to avoid a driving under the influence conviction.

Singer Justin Bieber is photographed by police while in custody on January 23, 2014 in Miami Beach, Florida. Justin Bieber was arrested for driving under the influence, resisting arrest and driving without a valid driver's license

He was not present at the hearing before Miami-Dade County Judge William Altfield. Defence lawyer Mark Shapiro said Bieber had already given the money to a local children's charity.

The singer was arrested early on January 23 in Miami Beach after what police described as an illegal street race between his rented Lamborghini and a Ferrari driven by R&B singer Khalil Amir Sharieff.

Neither was charged with drag racing and there was little evidence they were even exceeding posted speed limits.

Alcohol breath tests found Bieber's level below the 0.02 limit for under-age drivers, but urine tests showed the presence of marijuana and the anti-anxiety drug Xanax in his system.

Bieber was also charged with resisting arrest after a profanity-laced tirade against police officers, as well as driving on an expired license.

The urine test itself became a battle between media companies that sought access to video of it and Bieber's lawyers arguing it was an invasion of privacy.

Ultimately, Mr Altfield ordered the video released with sensitive portions blacked out. Other police video depicted Bieber walking unsteadily during a sobriety test.

In July, Bieber resolved another criminal case by pleading no contest to a vandalism charge for throwing eggs at a neighbour's house in Los Angeles. In that case, he agreed to pay more than $80,000 in damages and meet a number of other conditions.

Bieber is also charged in Toronto with assaulting a limousine driver in late December. His lawyers have said he is not guilty in that case.

Also in Miami, Bieber is being sued by a photographer who says he was roughed up while snapping pictures of the singer outside a recording studio.

The Canadian-born singer shot to stardom at age 15. His career was overseen by two music industry heavyweights, singer Usher and manager Scooter Braun, after initially gaining notice through YouTube videos.

Justin Bieber Has Words For His Haters

Justin Bieber recruited rapper Blake Kelly for his new song "Broken" which made its debut this weekend. The first track the young Biebs has released since his recent arrest, "Broken" has the 19-year-old singer addressing the drama, singing, "I guess they want a reaction / I ain't gonna give it to 'em." Bieber then sticks it to his haters, crooning, "I cannot be broken / like I know you were hoping."

Justin Bieber Filmed Sleeping In Bed By Girl In Brazil

Justin Bieber's sweet dreams were apparently caught on camera by a girl who might have been his bedmate. A video titled, "Justin Bieber sleeping with girl in Brasil" has popped up on YouTube and it is quickly gaining viewers.

The 15-second clip features the 19-year-old pop star sleeping in his hotel room, then the camerawoman turns the lens on herself, smiles, and blows the superstar singer a kiss before the video cuts out. Bieber's lady friend has been identified by Perez Hilton as Tati Neves.

Bieber has had quite the time since arriving in Brazil. Last week, he allegedly spent three hours inside the popular brothel Centauros in Rio de Janeiro before he was spotted sneaking out, covered in a bed sheet. Sources close to the singer denied the allegations, telling "Entertainment Tonight" that Bieber was not at a brothel, but rather a private members-only club that he was invited to by friends.

Justin Bieber's Sao Paulo Show Cut Short After Water Bottle Attack

Justin Bieber reportedly cut his concert in Sao Paulo, Brazil short this weekend after being hit with an object thrown from the crowd.

Bieber was performing in the Brazilian metropolis when a member of the audience threw what is reported to be a water bottle at him. Video of the incident can be seen above.

According to reports, fans waited close to an hour for the pop prince to return to the stage and finish the show, but he never did so, ending the gig without notice. (It should be noted that "Boyfriend," the song Bieber was finishing when the bottle was thrown, is often part of his encore anyway; he may have just been done with the show.)

For his part, Bieber commented on the performance on Twitter that night, avoiding mention of the drama and telling fans that it is "all love."

This isn't the first time that Bieber has been attacked onstage. Check out his earlier incident and similar moments from other artists below.

Justin Bieber may face CRIMINAL CHARGES for hocking a loogie

According to a new TMZ report, Justin Bieber’s inability to keep his bodily fluids to himself may land him in some hot loogie. After a recent tantrum in which the pop idol got so cranky that he spit up at his neighbor’s suggestion that he refrain from speeding in a cul-de-sac, the L.A County Sherrif’s Dept. will now most likely recommend that criminal battery charges be filed against the dyspeptic, droopy drawer-d, dipwad.

Reportedly, the 19-going-on-three-year-old took his Ferrari for a spin around the neighborhood at over 100mph and when his irate neighbor dared to step toe on Bieber’s property to complain, the wink-y, lip licking warbler cried out, “Get the f*ck out of here, I’m going to f***ing kill you!” and then promptly expectorated on the poor man.

Officially, no recommendation has been made yet, as the investigation is not finished, however, sources are spilling that Bieber’s salivary escapade is part of a larger picture that has emerged in the past few months concerning the singer’s all-around douche-tastic behavior, and the Sherriff sincerely feels he needs to be spanked repeatedly with a ladle of medium to heavy weight until he promises to be a good boy.

Now, I’m not even going to comment on the fact that I’m decidedly perplexed that this nozzle de douche’s popularity amongst the teenage throngs continues to rage on unabated, because…well…I’m not the target audience – I know this ok! In fact I haven’t been for decades…hell I don’t think I’ve ever been. So, although I personally believe that the white noise that this dim-witted drip blarrts out of his rectum is the auditory equivalent to contemplating the cobwebs in the corners of your ceiling at 3:47 am whilst battling a severe case of cholera induced constipation, I will relent that perhaps to some pea-brained, know-nothing tweener, his music – such as it is – might come off as pleasingly peppy. So no, I’m not going to comment on his talent – or lack thereof.

15-year-old Living Doll is YouTube's Controversial New Star

According to Palermo, you too could be a ball-jointed doll (or BJD as she calls it) with the right over-sized pupil contacts, plastic-sheen-effect powder and pure white eye shadow. Based on her 5 million viewers and the legions of lookalike fans on her Facebook page, people are taking her advice.

Video: father's extreme parenting goes viral

The modern ball-jointed doll is widely popular in Japan, a country both she and her mother are obsessed with. "Mommy cooks Japanese, thinks Japanese, goes to Japan with me," writes Palermo on her blog. "Because we like it. Liking something, is soooooo GREAT!" Palermo is actually Austrian, Swiss and Hungarian but she's been studying Japanese along with several other languages. Her multilingual background is how she explains her accent, which sounds close to the Midwestern Harajuku-obsessed college kids satirized on Saturday Night Live.

Palermo's obsession, however, isn't taken as lightly. Her videos have been labeled "bizarre" and "disturbing" in the media. Her uncanny appearance is sounding off alarm bells for concerned critics. Modern Asian ball joint dolls have become increasingly more life-like, with a line of human-sized, physically mature dolls recently released for the kind of consumer you don't want anywhere near your teenager.

The perverse comments on the 15-year-old's videos is proof she's attracting some unsavory fans. So is the occasional grown man dappling the list of Palermo's Facebook fans. But the 15-year-old's mom doesn't appear to be intervening in her daughter's risky hobby. Mom serves as host of Q&A chats between teenager and fans. In one video posted last year, she sat by while the teenager had an uncomfortable conversation with a 24-year-old male caller who professed his love and then proceeded to belittle her.

In text under that video, posted to VenusAngelic's channel, Palermo refers to her fans as "lovers." The title of the video is "Insane Guy in Love."

"The case of Venus Angelic is uncomfortably exploitative, as there is clearly a sexual undertone to what she is doing," says Hilary Levey Friedman, PhD, a Harvard sociologist whose written extensively about child exploitation in media.

"In general, young girls on YouTube is a disturbing, growing trend," she says noting the recent trend of pre-teen girls asking viewers if they're pretty.

In many cases, parents are unaware of their child's webcam usage, until their uploads go viral. But in other instances, the parents are facilitators.

"Remember, Justin Bieber got his start on YouTube with the help of his mother," says Levey Friedman.

Levey Friedman wonders whether Palermo's mom has similar aspirations for her daughter. The YouTube stage parent is relatively new concept. Most kids have risen to viral fame for just being kids, and when a parent profits off of that they're immediately criticized. The rare performing prodigy, like Bieber, is an exception. But Palermo doesn't fall into either category. She may be bringing a Japanese trend to Western teenagers, but she's also attracting a largely unsavory fan-base.

Selena Gomez and Justin Bieber--Pregnancy Scare?

Selena Gomez and Justin Bieber are constantly being photographed in hot and heavy--aka rather compromising--positions. Friends and family members are reportedly fearing the imminent peril of a possible pregnancy scare.

According to OK Magazine, both Gomez and Bieber have been duly warned about what an unplanned pregnancy could mean for each of their careers. A source close to both stars has the following to say about the precarious situation.

"Justin's been told straight up that if he's having sex, he had better use protection. He's young and full of hormones, the last thing he and Selena need is to make a terrible and costly mistake," the source says.

"Everyone knows their intentions are good," the source adds, "but they also know how easy it is to get worked up when you're young and in love. It would only take a few moments of weakness to cause what could be a lifetime of regret."

Selena Gomez is just 18 years old and Justin Bieber is 17. However so many of their fans are mere children--most not even in their teen years. How might they react if they learned that their favorite stars were having a baby?

Fans wondered if Selena Gomez's recent hospitalization might have been a pregnancy scare, but it seems the Monte Carlo star was simply suffering from exhaustion and malnutrition. Hopefully these two are taking ample precautions amidst the heat of their teen passion to ascertain no pregnancy mars their incredibly promising futures.

TMZ is reporting that Bieber was actually knocked down by an undercover cop who had lept to his defense when a crowd got rowdy; not realizing he was a police officer, Bieber got defensive, and his security team tried to pull the police officer away.

Things were cleared up, however, and disorderly conduct charges against one of his bodyguards were dropped. Scroll down for a photo, and click over to COED Magazine for more.

Bieber, who appeared on "The Late Show" in the city Wednesday night and appeared on "The View" earlier Thursday, was assaulted after coming outside to tell fans that they would not be able to access his cologne debut and autograph signing; only fans who had waited in line to receive a ticket were allowed in.
