  • Only God Forgives' Trailer Ryan Gosling Says Nothing, Does Unspeakable Things

In the new "Only God Forgives" red band trailer, Ryan Gosling offers up a familiar formula: few words, eye contact with the camera and super violent behavior. If that reminds you of "Drive," you're not crazy; "Only God Forgives" is directed by "Drive" helmer Nicolas Winding Refn.

Refn has allegedly upped the ante on the violence here, so we can assume that Gosling's dragging of a man by said man's jaw is only the beginning of the horrors contained within the movie. Also at play is a sinister storyline including Gosling's character's mother, who totally knew he was trouble when he walked in he was born.

The film takes place in Bangkok. Watch the trailer above and let us know what you think in the comments. "Only God Forgives" also stars Kristin Scott Thomas and Tom Burke and has yet to line-up a U.S. release date. Gosling, who took some time out from saving cows, also appears in "The Place Beyond the Pines."

Nato helicopter kills four Afghan police, police say

Gunfire from a helicopter operated by Nato forces killed four Afghan police officers in the eastern province of Ghazni, a district police chief said on Thursday.

Civilian casualties are a source of friction between President Hamid Karzai and his international allies, and the mistaken killing of members of the Afghan security forces is likely to compound Afghan government anger.

The four Afghan Local Police (ALP) officers were in a village in Deyak district when the helicopter fired on them on Wednesday, said district police chief Faiz Mohammad.

“The gunship must have mistaken the policemen for insurgents,” police chief Faiz Mohammad told Reuters, adding that the four were not wearing uniforms. Two civilians who were nearby were wounded, he said.

A spokesman for the Nato-led International Security Assistance Force said it was “assessing” the report.

    “We’re aware of local reports
an alleged air strike in Ghazni province yesterday in which several people were reportedly killed,” the spokesman said.

In recent years, Deyak district has largely been under the control of the Taliban but the ALP, who are often recruited from militias, have pushed the militants out of the area.

Last week, an air strike by Nato helicopter supporting Afghan security forces killed two children and nine suspected Taliban in a different area of Ghazni province.

What happens if North Korea gets out of hand? Here are some scenarios

While political and military analysts sound pretty confident that North Korean leader Kim Jong Un's threats are just bluster, you can't get around the fact that the region encompassing the Korean peninsula is one of the most heavily militarized places on Earth, home to three of the world's six-largest militaries.

If the unthinkable were to happen, how would it play out?

Leon Panetta, who stepped down as President Barack Obama's defense secretary in February, warned this week in an interview with CNBC that "we don't have as much insight as we should with regards to the inner workings of what happens in North Korea."

But based on declassified U.S. and U.N. assessments and independent analyses by military scholars, we can make some educated guesses:

    How would North Korea attack?
Probably with a massive ground assault backed by artillery fire. That's because North Korea's standing military, according to the best U.S. and U.N. intelligence assessments, is the fourth largest in the world, at 1.1 million members. South Korea's, by contrast, is about 690,000 strong.

That ratio — a manpower superiority of roughly 3-to-2 for the North — is remarkably consistent across calculations of the countries' weaponry, too. By about the same proportion, the North has more tanks, more artillery, more planes, more ships, more missiles.

In a 2008 report commissioned by the U.S. Joint Chiefs of Staff, the Federal Research Division of the Library of Congress depicted North Korea as, in essence, one giant military installation

Lululemon Chief Product Officer Sheree Waterson Steps Down Following Yoga Pant Debacle

Lululemon said Wednesday that its chief product officer is stepping down, as it updated the production problems it has had with see-through pants.

The Canadian yoga wear maker said Sheree Waterson will leave effective April 15.

In a statement, the company said the departure was part of a plan to reorganize its product team to support long-term growth. It wouldn't comment specifically if the departure was related to the pants problem.

"As the organization matures organizational structure changes are often required," the company said in an email response to a query.

Lululemon late last month pulled its Luon pants from store shelves because the fabric was too sheer. On Wednesday the company said after evaluating its production issues, it found the problem stemmed from incomplete testing protocols combined with a style change in the pants pattern. Lululemon hired a new team, including senior level positions in quality, raw materials, and production, to look into the problem and oversee production of the Luon pants, which cost $72 to $98.

Luon pants, made from a combination of nylon and Lycra fibers, are one of the retailer's product staples and account for about 17 percent of all women's pants in its stores. The company is offering customers full refunds or exchanges Lululemon did not say when it expects Luon pants to be back on shelves.

CEO Christine Day said the company stands by the outlook it offered on March 21 during an earnings report that came after the pants problem arose.

At that time, the company said withdrawing Luons will cut its revenue by $12 million to $17 million in the first quarter and by $45 million to $50 million for the rest of the year, particularly in the second quarter. It also said it expects first-quarter earnings of 28 to 30 cents per share. It reported earnings of 32 cents per share a year ago. The company expects the recall will pull its earnings down by 11 to 12 cents per share.

Snoop Lion & Miley Cyrus' 'Ashtrays And Heartbreak' Debuts Off 'Reincarnated'

Nothing like some nostalgic weed smoking to bring together a 20-year-old pop starlet from Nashville and a 41-year-old West Coast gangster rapper-turned-reggae mon! If that's your thing, you're luck: Miley Cyrus and Snoop Lion have teamed up for "Ashtrays and Heartbreaks," a song off the Lion's upcoming album, "Reincarnated."

It's a generally inoffensive tune that features both vocalists offering breathy reflections on lost loved ones. Some might accuse Snoop Lion of a certain inauthenticity, but let's be honest, if there are two people who are going to sing about pot, these aren't the worst choices.

If working on a reggae-lite album seems like a surprising move for Cyrus, consider the fact that she last made music headlines by appearing in a raunchy video for Borgore's dubstep song "Decision." She's nimble in this industry!

Snoop has stayed busy doing press runs for the movie and album. In an interview with HuffPost, he said "Young, Wild and Free" would make a nice new national anthem for the United States and backed same-sex marriage. "People can do what they want and as they please," he said. "Satisfy yourself accordingly. I have no issues with nobody, I live for me and I live my life doing what I do, so you should have the right to do whatever you want to do."

Diplo debuted the track on Major Lazer's SoundCloud page. Major Lazer produced the record in Jamaica, where Snoop filmed a documentary about his personal renaissance, also called "Reincarnated." The movie is a VICE project. Diplo took a hardline on the NRA in a recent tweet endorsing "No Guns Allowed," another "Reincarnated" song that features Drake and Snoop's daughter. The "No Guns Allowed" video debuted earlier this week.

Lamar Odom, Khloe Kardashian Charity Scam? Why Their Cancer Research Cause Raises Questions

Could Lamar Odom and Khloe Kardashian be involved in a charity scam?

According to ESPN, Lamar Odom's charity "Cathy's Kids" -- which he founded in 2004 after his mother passed away from cancer -- promises "money for cancer research [but] has not given a dime in grant money to any cancer entity in its eight-year history." This, despite raising $2.2 million thus far.

On Lamar and Khloe's joint eBay page, it states that "[Cathy's Kids] was developed as a means for Lamar to streamline all his charitable efforts and focus on making a positive impact on the lives of under-privileged children, as well as targeting a disease that has played a significant role in his life, cancer."

Which is where it gets tricky: The second half of the sentence is apparently an empty statement, while the first is not.

"Lamar lost his mother to stomach cancer and subsequently is committed to help causes that are focused on finding a cure and helping people who suffer from the disease," their site goes on to say. As mentioned, no such money was given to the cause.

On the upside though, the couple's mission to ensure "that funds are available for under-privileged youth that live in the inner cities of New York and Los Angeles" has been fulfilled. Of the $2.2 million the charity has raised, reports Yahoo, at least 60 percent -- $1.3 million -- went to finance two elite youth basketball travel teams.

To make matters a bit tricky, a separate eBay page dedicated to Cathy's Kids makes no mention of cancer research, but is instead dedicated solely to raising funds to buy "educational tools such as books and computers, mentoring and tutoring services and recreational opportunities" for underprivileged youth.

And Khloe's involvement goes beyond just being the wife of, or having her photographs on eBay with Lamar: According to Yahoo, the reality star is actively auctioning clothes and accessories and her page clearly states that "all auction items benefit Cathy's Kids, a Lamar Odom Foundation."

So why is the charity publicly committed to cancer research while the money does not go to cancer research? A request for comment made to both Lamar and Khloe's reps was not immediately answered.

Members Of White Supremacist Gang Sought In Colorado Prison Chief Death

Authorities investigating the death of Colorado's prisons chief are telling law enforcement officers to be on the lookout for two known associates of a white supremacist prison gang.

El Paso County sheriff's Lt. Jeff Kramer said an officer safety bulletin was sent out Wednesday regarding James Lohr, 47, and Thomas Guolee, 31.

Lohr and Guolee aren't being called suspects in the death of Colorado Department of Corrections chief Tom Clements, but their names have surfaced during the investigation, Kramer said. He wouldn't elaborate.

Kramer said Lohr and Guolee are known associates of the 211 Crew. That's the same gang whose members included Evan Ebel, who is suspected of fatally shooting Clements on March 19 and a pizza deliveryman two days earlier.

Ebel was killed in a shootout with Texas authorities after the deaths.

Investigators have said Ebel is the only suspect in Clements' death but haven't given a motive. But they have said they're looking into his connection to the gang he joined while in prison, and whether that was connected to the attack.

Sheriff's investigators don't know the whereabouts of Lohr and Guolee or if they are together, but Kramer said it's possible one or both of them could be headed to Nevada or Texas.

Both are wanted on warrants unrelated to Clements' death. They are believed to be armed and dangerous.

Clements, born in St. Louis, worked for 31 years in the Missouri Department of Corrections, both in prison and as a parole officer, before he was hired in Colorado.

Christina Aguilera Steps Out Without Makeup

Christina Aguilera went super-casual Tuesday as she arrived at LAX airport, with her son, Max Bratman. The former "Voice" coach traded in her usually glammed-up attire and hair for a black sweatshirt and New York Yankees cap.

The 32-year-old singer recently showed off a slimmer, fitter frame at the fourth season premiere of "The Voice" and has spoken openly about her appearance in the past. "I've been on all spectrums [weight-wise], I've been in this [business] for a long time ... You can never be too much of anything," Aguilera said at the Television Critics Association conference in January 2012. "You can never bee too perfect, too thin, too curvy, voluptuous this that. I've been all sides of the spectrum as far as any female in this business."

Monster barracuda is nearly 7-feet long, 102 pounds

Fishing for tarpon was slow on the Cuanza River in Angola, so when Thomas Gibson hooked into a giant fish that took a scorching run and stayed close to the surface, he and his fishing partner thought, finally, a tarpon.

But what came to the boat was not only a huge fish, but a huge surprise.

“It came to the boat fairly easily (too easily for a tarpon!) and once I got hold of the leader and pulled it up to the surface, we saw it was a HUGE barracuda,” Cam Nicolson wrote in an email to GrindTV Outdoor. “It was bigger than any barracuda I had seen.”

    The barracuda—a Guinean barracuda, to be exact—measured 6.9-feet long and weighed a potential all-tackle world-record 102 pounds.

“I have never seen anything like it,” Iain Nicolson, Cam’s brother, told Sport Fishing.

Indeed, Guinean barracuda in the Cuanza River typically average 10-20 pounds with the biggest the Nicolson’s of Angola have caught previously being around 65 pounds.

Gibson, a Houston resident who is an expert at catching tarpon, submitted the recent catch to the International Game Fish Association, the keeper of fishing world records. The IGFA is currently reviewing the potential record.

[Related: The biggest fish ever caught from a kayak.]

The current record is 101 pounds, 3 ounces, also caught in Africa. That fish was landed by Dr. Cyril Fabre in Olende, Gabon.

Amazingly, the one Gibson hooked took less than 10 minutes to land, but it came with one harrowing moment.

“We only had a lip gaff onboard [seen in photo below], so that was a little too close to the teeth for comfort,” Cam Nicolson said.

FBI Busts N.Y. Politicos for Bribery and Corruption

FBI agents raided the homes of state Sen. Malcolm Smith, D-Hollis, and New York City Council Member Dan Halloran, R-19, this morning and arrested both men, according to the New York Times. The criminal complaint , which had been sealed until today, alleges that the two, along with four other politicians from Rockland and Westchester Counties, engaged in bribery, defrauding of honest service and conspiracy to commit an unlawful activity. The remaining four defendants are Noramie Jasmin and Joseph Desmaret, the mayor and deputy mayor of Spring Valley; Vincent Tabone, a Republican official in Queens; and Joseph Savino, the Bronx GOP chairman.

    The scheme

The New York Post states that it is alleged that Smith conspired with Republican officials to obtain the party's permission to run for mayor of New York City on the Republican line, even though he is a Democrat. The alleged conspiracy involved bribing select Republicans to influence that approval process. Halloran is also being investigated for taking bribes from a consultant in return for allocating city funds. The Spring Valley politicians are believed to be involved through Smith's alleged efforts to provide a benefit to a real estate developer in return for financial support.

    Undercover activity

The FBI introduced an agent into the alleged conspiracy posing as a real estate developer. The agent and a cooperating witness met with the Tabone and Savino, and according to the Times, the politicians accepted bribes of $40,000 each. Halloran is reported to have solicited more than $20,000 in bribes.

    Statements

U.S. Attorney Preet Bharara calls the alleged crimes "an unappetizing smorgasbord of graft and greed involving six officials who together built a corridor of corruption stretching from Queens and the Bronx to Rockland County and all the way up to Albany itself." Gerald Shargel, Senator Smith's attorney, is quoted in the New York Times saying "Malcolm Smith is a dedicated and highly respected public servant and he steadfastly denies these charges."

    Repercussions

The fallout from these arrests and any potential convictions will affect both New York City politics as well as the New York state senate. The Times notes that two of the Republican officials involved are involved with existing mayoral campaigns of other Republicans. Tabone is a paid consultant for the campaign of John Catsimatidis while Halloran recently endorsed Republican candidate Joseph Lhota. Malcolm Smith is one of five Democratic state senators who are supporting Republican control of the Senate. From 2008 to 2010, Smith was the president of the senate while it was controlled by the Democrats. Republicans regained a slim majority in 2010, which they lost in 2012. Smith and four other liberal Democrats formed the Independent Democratic Conference and voted with Republicans to restore their control of the upper house of the New York legislature.

New York mayor Michael Bloomberg is term limited and cannot run for re-election. The process to determine who will succeed him has begun for both the Democratic and Republican parties. These arrests may affect that process and the election. In addition, the arrest of Malcolm Smith may affect Republican control of the state senate.

    Pepsi IPL Schedule 2013

IPL Schedule 2013 cricket Tournament will start on Apr 3, 2013 in India. The last match of the tournament will be held on May 26, 2013.

The Indian Premier League, or as some would like to address it as the Cricket Carnival is back in the subcontinent and is in tremendous flow with a lot of new exciting surprises keeping viewers hooked to their TV sets. There was much ado about the Pepsico IPL schedule before the start of the event with critics complaining about too much of cricket being played which can fatigue players in the long run. The short version of the game has added a lot of color to cricket itself especially after the involvement of Bollywood superstars in the event. The Pepsi IPL fixture was declared back in the month of January after the auction held at Bangalore. The IPL time table is considered to be a lot more hyped than other tournament time tables owing to the fact that cricket crazy India always tends to promise a better turn out at the stadiums than any other countries in the world. The indian premier league schedule has been carefully designed to ensure optimum crowd turnout and the months of April-May are considered to be the time of the year when cricket in India is played at its best. Top four teams from IPL Points Table will enter playoff/semi final round.

As to what a lot may oppose regarding the busy indian premier league fixtures that has kept the veterans in the hunt still going strong; it does not really spoil the game of cricket but also encourages a lot of talented youngsters to play with conviction. The indian premier league time table this year is hands down devoid of controversies though unlike that of the 4th edition of the league where the IPLT20 schedule was prepared and started just after 4 days from the last match of the ICC Cricket World Cup.

Nicki Minaj's 'High School' Video Includes Steamy Sex Scenes With ... Lil Wayne

It's not surprising that Nicki Minaj's "High School" video features Lil Wayne. After all, he recorded a verse for the song and heads up the the label they're both signed to, Young Money. What is a bit odd, however, is the fact that the duo filmed a racy sex scene for the visuals.

Wayne has always played the mentor role to Minaj, notably having her back when she was insulted by a Hot 97 DJ before she was to take the stage at the radio station's Summer Jam concert. It's curious to see them playing these roles in a music video, but it's sure to get hip-hop blogs talking.

In the clip, Wayne and Minaj make off to an island to engage in some sort of shady business and end up falling into bed. After their tryst, they steal things and sneak off in a helicopter. *Cue Beats by Dre product placement.

"High School" is off Minaj's hilariously titled "Pink Friday: Roman Reloaded The Re-Up." Watch the video and let us know what you think in the comments. Another YMCBC rapper debuted a video today; head over to our article on Drake's "5AM in Toronto" video to see how he fared.

Survivalist surrenders to lawmen in Utah mountains

For six years Troy James Knapp eluded authorities, moving from cabin to cabin across the Utah mountains, taking food and weapons and leaving notes to brag about it.

It all ended Tuesday as lawmen made what they called a surprisingly easy capture outside a remote cabin after the suspect fired off a few harmless shots.

"He was laughing with our guys. He said, 'Boy, you really snuck up on me,'" said Sevier County Sheriff Nathan Curtis. "He threw his rifle down in the snow and said, 'You got me.'"

The 45-year-old survivalist is suspected of burglarizing dozens of Utah cabins and leaving taunting notes for owners — "get off my mountain" — and for sheriffs across several counties — "gonna put you in the ground!" Now he faces multiple felonies in at least four counties, including for shooting at a police helicopter and officers on the ground.

The self-styled "Mountain Man" looked sullen as he was walked into Sanpete County jail late Tuesday, already in jail garb from a quick stop at another county jail. Sanpete County prosecutor Brody Keisel said Knapp will have his first court appearance in Manti within days on a number of felony charges.

Knapp has an impressive memory and was eager to recite his travels and numerous cabin break-ins, bragging that authorities knew only the half of it and showing maps, Curtis said. He does not yet have an attorney.

Authorities believe Knapp had lingered around the snowy mountains outside Ferron, about 125 miles southeast of Salt Lake City, since last fall. He took shelter at cabins in the middle of the Manti-LaSal National Forest.

"It is a relief to know that he has been caught," said Eugene Bartholomew, the owner of a cabin broken into recently at Ferron Reservior under the windswept Wasatch Plateau, where the snow is still piled four feet deep in places. "If he slept in the beds, that's fine with me. As long as he didn't tear up the place."

Bartholomew was planning a trip to inspect his cabin.

No one was hit before Knapp was captured after his brief effort to flee on snowshoes from dozens of officers who converged on snowmobiles and a snowcat, Sanpete County Sheriff Brian Nielson said.

Armed with a rifle and a handgun, authorities said, Knapp was wearing camouflage clothes and sporting a graying red beard.

At first, lawmen didn't know exactly where to look for Knapp. They got a Good Friday tip from a pair of hunters who had a chance encounter in the area with Knapp, who introduced himself as a "mountain man," Curtis said.

Authorities from several counties spent the weekend planning a stealthy search for Knapp. A surveillance party led by Emery County Sheriff Greg Funk quietly approached Ferron Reservoir by snowshoe at 1 a.m. Monday, other authorities said.

"They could hear him chopping wood," Curtis said.

Nine hours later, with the help of the helicopter, they flushed the suspect out of a cabin where he was barricaded. Knapp tried to take off in the woods.

"He walked into a line of guys with guns and realized he was done," U.S. Forest Service officer Scott Watson said. "We were so happy it turned out the way it did."

Knapp had been photographed by motion-triggered cameras on snowshoes with a stolen rifle slung over his shoulder as recently as last fall in Sanpete County. Iron, Kane and Garfield counties have all issued arrest warrants for him on burglary and weapons charges.

He had been living off the comfort of cabins in winter and retreating to makeshift summer camps deep in the forest with stolen guns and supplies, detectives have said.6

Lady Gaga In 'X-Men: Days Of Future Past' As Dazzler? Bryan Singer Tweets Casting Prank On April Fools' Day

Is Lady Gaga playing Dazzler in "X-Men: Days of Future Past"? She's not, apparently, but that didn't stop Bryan Singer from having a little fun on Monday afternoon, a.k.a. April Fools' Day.

Singer, who is set to direct "X-Men: Days of Future Past," has previously used the social media platform to reveal casting news for his upcoming film. In an interview with HuffPost Entertainment earlier this year, the director explained his expanded Twitter presence.

I decided that the next time I got myself involved in a movie that had a huge amount of attention already that I would use Twitter. As a way of connecting with fans, principally. And also as a way of clearing up misunderstandings so that people know. You know, they may hear that an actor is cast or hear somebody is going to be in it, but until I say it's so, that's the confirmation.

Except when it's not the confirmation, as in this case. Singer's joke wasn't without victims: Variety ran with the Lady Gaga news, posting that the pop singer was added to "a diverse and intriguing cast." The article was subsequently pulled down, and Variety acknowledged the gaffe:

It wasn't so hard to believe that Gaga would join "X-Men," of course; the singer has stretched her wings as an actress in recent months, filming a role in "Machete Kills" for director Robert Rodriguez.

HuffPost Entertainment reached out to Singer's representatives to find out whether he was, in fact, joking; the director had no comment on the tweet. According to the website Bleeding Cool, Lady Gaga's representatives have denied she has any involvement in the film.

Fairy Tayl Prince Swift has sights set on meeting Harry

The ginger royal’s state visit to the US in May will be his first since he landed himself in the brown stuff for playing strip billiards in Vegas.

A source said: “Taylor’s desperate to get her name added on to the VIP lists of stars being lined up to meet Harry. She loves everything about him — especially his ginger hair and English accent.

“She’s dated JFK’s great nephew CONOR KENNEDY, who is considered American royalty, and Harry would be a massive step up from him.

“Taylor is also Harry’s type as he loves blondes.

“Ed is laid-back, but it will be a challenge for him not to get jealous over Taylor’s admiration for another richer, ginger Englishman with the same name as one of her ex-boyfriends.”

Ed’s ego will also take a knock as one of his party tales is about being mistaken for the prince — by Harry’s cousins BEATRICE and EUGENIE.

He bumped into the princesses while performing at a wedding in the Caribbean and recalled: “One of the girls said, ‘You know my cousin looks like you’.”

Harry — dating blonde party girl CRESSIDA BONAS — is set to meet US stars including JENNIFER LAWRENCE, VANESSA HUDGENS, KATE UPTON and SCARLETT JOHANSSON at parties being thrown for him in Washington and New York.

And Taylor — whose exes include ONE DIRECTION’s HARRY STYLES, actor JAKE GYLLENHAAL and TAYLOR LAUTNER — has the perfect chance to bag an invite. She is in Washington at the same time as Harry for her Red tour — which has Ed as her support act and duet partner.

Her shows are already proving a hit in the US. On Friday, Taylor turned heads in a tight black number for a gig in Newark, New Jersey, but dressed down for her performance with Ed.

She’s best not getting too friendly with the prince. Ed could do her serious damage with the razor-sharp sword he’s been carrying on tour.

The blade was handed to him by director PETER JACKSON from the set of The Hobbit and it nearly killed Taylor on a recent jet flight.

Ed said: “It’s a real sword. I was bringing it back to Nashville and as the plane started to take off, it was on the table and started sliding and I was like, ‘No!’ It was just about to impale Taylor.”

Witness Man yelled about God after church killing

Witnesses say the 25-year-old man accused of walking into an Ohio church and fatally shooting his father after an Easter service Sunday was yelling about God and Allah after the killing.

Police say Reshad Riddle walked into the Hiawatha Church of God in Christ in Ashtabula and killed his father, 52-year-old Richard Riddle, with a single shot from a handgun Sunday afternoon.

Associate Pastor Sean Adams told The (Ashtabula) Star Beacon newspaper that worshippers started screaming, ducking down and calling 911 on cellphones after the shooting.

""It was terrifying," Adams told the newspaper. "The children were screaming and people were dialing 911. We were afraid to breathe."

Adams said Reshad Riddle then continued into the church, still holding the gun, and yelled that the killing was "the will of Allah. This is the will of God."

Reshad Riddle was quickly subdued by officers, who arrived just moments after the shooting. They say he has been mostly cooperative.

The Plain Dealer newspaper in Cleveland reported that another church pastor said congregants were leaving when they heard a gunshot.

"People pushed me into a back office and said, 'Somebody's here with a gun,'" said the Rev. David Howard Jr. "The guy was outside hollering and acting crazy."

County Coroner Pamela Lancaster said Richard Riddle's wound was "immediately fatal."

Ashtabula Police Chief Robert Stell said the younger Riddle offered no motive for the shooting.

"Witnesses at the scene said the shooter entered church and made some references to Allah, but we are not sure if that was a motive or if there was a family problem," Stell said. "There is no indication that the father and son had a bad relationship. Everyone thinks this was very surprising."

Court records show Reshad Riddle has an extensive criminal record.

Ashtabula County Common Pleas Court records show he was arrested and charged with two counts of felonious assault, kidnapping, abduction and tampering with evidence in 2006.

Records show that in 2007, Reshad Riddle was charged with felonious assault, and in 2009 he was charged with possession of drugs, tampering with evidence and possession of cocaine.

According to police reports, one of the felonious assault charges stemmed from an incident when Reshad Riddle allegedly attempted to cut his girlfriend's throat. Capt. Joseph Cellitti said the young woman's neck had been cut with a knife and she suffered bruising on her side and chest.

Church parishioners said Reshad Riddle was a member of the church as a child, but did not attend services regularly as an adult.

Lindsay Lohan Sideboob Actress Nearly Spills Out Of Her Dress In Brazil

Patron saint Lindsay Lohan had an "oopsie" moment yesterday while exiting her chopper in Brazil.

The actress, down in Latin America to promote a brand of jeans for $100,000 a day, reportedly took some pants and some jewels from the set of "Anger Management" before she left the States -- but she should have taken a bra. LiLo spilled out of her gray dress and, luckily, had her long red hair to cover up an even bigger disaster.

Lohan and her sideboob partied pretty hard in the days before, and on Friday, photos of the troubled star hiding under a table at a nightclub circulated the Web.

On May 2, Lohan will have to start court-mandated rehab. It's been recently reported that the 26-year-old said the only way she'd enter lockdown treatment is if they let her keep taking Adderall. We suggest she put a clause in there about undergarments.

North Korea puts rockets on standby as US official warns regime is no 'paper tiger'

North Korea put its rocket units on standby Friday to attack U.S. military bases in South Korea and the Pacific, after repeated threats one day after two American stealth bombers flew over the Korean Peninsula in a military exercise.

A U.S. official warned that the isolated communist state is “not a paper tiger” and its reaction should not be dismissed as “pure bluster.”

According to South Korea's news agency, Yonhap, North Korea announced Saturday that it had entered a state of war against South Korea. "In a special statement, the North said it will deal with every inter-Korean issue in a wartime manner," Yonhap reported. NBC News could not immediately confirm.

The two Koreas have been in a technical state of war because their 1950-53 conflict ended under an armistice and not a peace treaty.

NBC's Andrea Mitchell examines North Korea's brewing threats and what they mean for neighboring South Korea.

According to North Korea's official KCNA news agency, the country's leader Kim Jong Un “judged the time has come to settle accounts with the U.S. imperialists in view of the prevailing situation” at a midnight meeting of top generals, Reuters reported.

The latest threats come one day after two nuclear-capable stealth bombers flew from Missouri to drop inert munitions on a range in South Korea as part of a major military exercise.

The U.S. official emphasized the danger posed by North Korea’s military and the unpredictable nature of its 30-year-old leader.

“North Korea is not a paper tiger so it wouldn't be smart to dismiss its provocative behavior as pure bluster. What's not clear right now is how much risk Kim Jong Un is willing to run to show the world and domestic elites that he's a tough guy,” said the official, who asked not to be named. “His inexperience is certain -- his wisdom is still very much in question.”

There was a mass demonstration in support of Kim involving tens of thousands of people in the main square of North Korean capital Pyongyang Friday, The Associated Press reported.

Placards read "Let's crush the puppet traitor group" and "Let's rip the puppet traitors to death!"

    'War for national liberation'
The state-controlled KCNA also published an article that said the “opportunity for peacefully settling the DPRK-U.S. relations is no longer available as the U.S. opted for staking its fate. Consequently, there remains only the settlement of accounts by a physical means.” DPRK stands for Democratic People’s Republic of Korea, the North's official name.

Feedly Mobile revamp caters to Reader escapees with fast search, Must Reads

The phaseout of Google Reader is quickly becoming a boon for developers still carrying the torch for newsreader apps -- just ask Feedly, which now says it took on 3 million new users in the two weeks since Google's decision. Rather than simply wait for more customers to roll in on their own, though, the company is taking matters into its own hands with a major refresh of Feedly Mobile for Android and iOS. The update brings a reworked search engine that's both extra-quick and makes topic suggestions based on the collective subscriptions of the Feedly user base, getting better as more readers join the ranks. Other updates also serve those who want to keep things moving quickly. A new Must Reads section prioritizes feeds, a title-only view maximizes screen space and an updated sharing panel both allows a customizable shortcut as well as (slightly ironic) sharing to Google+. Once you've gotten over the sting of another Google spring cleaning, Feedly's potential solutions await at the source links.

Real Bikini Bodies Look Like This

It's only March and we're already seeing it: "Kate Beckinsale's Hot Bikini Body: Tips From Her Trainer"; "Snooki is 'Beach Body Ready' in New Bikini Pictures"; "'Summer isn't far away': Victoria Beckham prepares her bikini body."

But what does "bikini body" even mean? We happen to believe that if you're physically able to put on a bathing suit, you're bikini-ready. This week we asked readers on Facebook to send us images of their perfectly beach-ready bodies -- unstarved and unairbrushed. We've received some awesome photos already and we hope that you'll send more our way to help us prove that we're all beach- and bathing suit-ready just as we are.

Google creates controversy with Cesar Chavez doodle

Google’s decision to mark Easter Sunday with a doodle of leftist icon Cesar Chavez atop its search engine angered some users in what they see as a snub of Jesus on the day Christians mark his resurrection.

Google defended the decision by saying it reserves the spot for historical figures and events, but a review of its past doodles shows it has never honored Jesus on Christmas or Easter, despite his historical and spiritual significance to billions around the world.

“I thought the Chavez-google thing was a hoax or an early April Fool's Day prank,” Fox News contributor Dana Perino tweeted. “ ... are they just going to leave that up there all day?”

The Daily Caller website also chimed in, noting the establishing ties between Google executive chairman Eric Schmidt and the Obama administration.

“While Google frequently decorates its logo to celebrate various holidays and special events, it is unclear why the company chose specifically to honor Chavez’s birthday, instead of Easter Sunday,” the website read.

Macy's Catalog Typo Prices $1500 Necklace At $47

Snagging a $1500 necklace for a mere $47 seems too good to be true, right?

Recipients of Macy's national catalog had to really think this one through when the aforementioned price reduction was listed as a "Super Buy." The item, a 14k Gold and Sterling Silver Necklace, was even available for purchase in store, according to customer Robert Bernard.

In an ABC News segment, Bernard recounts his experience at the Texas Macy's in Collin Creek Mall, where he witnessed the $47 necklace sell out before he ordered two of them to be shipped to his home. His total savings? $1,406. (That sure beats any deal we've ever scored.)

Unfortunately, this was too good to be true. Macy's called a couple of days later to inform Bernard of the incorrect pricing and cancelled his order. The actual price of the 14K necklace was $479 -- meaning, the "9" was accidentally omitted. Oops?

Beth Charlton, a Macy's spokeswoman, gave a statement to News 8:

"When the mistake was caught, signage did go up in the fine jewelry department and on store doors alerting customers that a mistake had been made. For those customers who bought the necklace at the $47 price, they were fortunate. For the gentleman you spoke with, he was not so fortunate. We are sincerely sorry he was disappointed and unable to buy the necklace at the $47 price for his wife."

Thus far, this hasn't really been a great year for the jewelry industry. Back in February, the De Beers counter in a Paris department store was robbed of millions of euros worth of stock. Just a day before that, armed robbers at Brussels airport left with $50 million worth of diamonds after a five-minute heist.

We're not sure just how much Macy's lost in their unfortunate typo incident, but we're pretty sure they'll never take catalog editing lightly again. Check out the video and shot of the typo and tell us what you think!

Music's Biggest Jokes, From LMFAO & Flo-Rida To Mariah Carey's Rider & Paris Hilton's DJ Career

So here we are: April Fools' Day is upon us. The day where countless "funny" people pull your seat our from under you, tell you that you're fired and joke about being pregnant.

Here at HuffPost Entertainment, we'd rather not pull some flashy prank on you. But April Fools' Day is also a time for humor and letting off steam, a time where everything normal pauses and some honest, all-in-good-fun straight talk takes center stage.

On that note, the following collection of musicians have earned the dubious honor of landing on our list of Music's Biggest Jokes. Keep in mind that these folks aren't meant to represent all that's wrong in the music business; nor are they meant to be taken as the worst musicians of all time. But for the reasons enunciated in the text accompanying their photos, they do seem to have taken things a step too far.

How the US oil, gas boom could shake up global order

Without fanfare, China passed the United States in December to become the world's leading importer of oil – the first time in nearly 40 years that the U.S. didn’t own that dubious distinction. That same month, North Dakota, Ohio and Pennsylvania together produced 1.5 million barrels of oil a day -- more than Iran exported.
    America’s drive for energy independence

As those data points demonstrate, a dramatic shift is occurring in how energy is being produced and consumed around the world – one that could lead to far-reaching changes in the geopolitical order.

U.S. policy makers, intelligence analysts and other experts are beginning to grapple with the ramifications of such a change, which could bring with it both great benefits for the U.S. and potentially dangerous consequences, including the risk of upheaval in countries and regions heavily dependent on oil exports.

But many experts say the U.S. would be the big winner, in position to reshape its foreign policy and boost its global influence.

"People already are looking at the U.S. differently, seeing the U.S. as much more competitive in the world,” said energy analyst and author Dan Yergin, saying that he first noticed the change in the world view of the U.S. at the World Economic Forum in January in Davos, Switzerland.
Slideshow: Drilling down and out in Texas

Watch a drilling crew at work near the small town of Garden City, Texas, as they drill an oil well that eventually will extend more than a mile deep and a mile sideways in the Permian Basin.

As detailed in the first two installments of Power Shift, an NBC News/CNBC special report, the United States is reaping the benefits of an energy boom created by new drilling technologies that have unlocked vast domestic oil and natural gas reserves. Coupled with decreasing demand due to energy efficiency and continued cultivation of alternative energy sources, an increasing number of experts believe the U.S. could achieve energy independence by the end of the decade – realizing a dream born during the gas crisis of 1973.

But who would be the global winners and losers in such a scenario?

Most U.S. policy makers and experts agree that the U.S. and its allies – particularly its North American neighbors -- would be the biggest beneficiaries.

    Boom helps Iran sanctions stick
In fact, they say, the West already has realized one major benefit: the success of international sanctions against Iran over its nuclear program.

Carlos Pascual, the State Department’s coordinator for international energy affairs, noted last month at the CERAWEEK energy conference in Houston that increased U.S. oil production, coupled with a boost in exports from Iraq and Libya, has kept oil prices stable despite the loss, because of sanctions, of up to 1.5 million barrels a day in Iranian exports.

“What this has taught us, and helped underscore, is that within the world we live in today, hard security issues and energy policy issues have become fundamentally intertwined,” he said.

Authorities say 4 hurt when driver crashes into Calif. Walmart, assaults people in store

A man in a large red sedan hit two cars in the parking lot of a San Jose Walmart before ramming the car through the front of the store then assaulting customers inside, officials said. The attack injured four people, one of them seriously.

The man crashed the Oldsmobile Cutlass through the storefront near the pharmacy Sunday and collided with a beer display before stopping, police and witnesses said.

The unidentified driver then got out of his car and used a blunt object to attack people, San Jose police Officer Albert Morales said. The driver was arrested when officers arrived.

Investigators have not determined how fast the driver -- described as a man in his 30s -- was going at the time of the crash but the car went about 20 feet into the Walmart Supercenter that had about 70 people inside in San Jose, Morales said.

One person suffered what Morales described as serious injuries. He did not know the extent of the injuries to the three other people but said they were not life-threatening. The injured included a store employee.

There was no immediate word about what motivated the suspect.

Customer Sharon Kaye told the San Jose Mercury News the driver sideswiped her car as he made several runs around the parking lot before driving between poles at the entrance and crashing into the store.

"At first, I thought I may have done something to anger him while driving," she said. "But then I realized he was out to get into the store."

After the crash, the entrance to the Walmart was roped off with yellow police tape, and workers put up large boards covering the automatic doors where the car had entered.

A Walmart spokeswoman told the Mercury News that the store remained shut down for several hours, and an employee was among those hurt.

American Idol 2013: Kree Harrison Shows She’s an Idol Queen

In an attempt to also challenge herself on American Idol, Kree Harrison took on the Aretha Franklin hit “Don’t Play that Song.”

Smoky Robinson was so impressed he said he was going to make sure Aretha tuned in to see her rendition. The performance wasn’t flawless, but Kree showed that she can do many things with her talent. The judges thought it was risky, but a great choice.

More Kree? Check out Kree’s performance from last week - With A Little Help From My Friends by The Beatles

Randy Jackson: We’ve got that Kree love up in here. To take on the queen of soul is a very tough thing.. You one of the best in the competition. This was not a perfect performance tonight..but you are definitely here to stay..

Mariah Carey: When I heard you were doing that song, I thought it was going to be interesting.

There was a slightly country infusion. This was a song I sang when I first started out with a piano. I commend you for doing this song, we need to keep doing these things so people remember people like Aretha Franklin, the queen of soul.

Keith Urban: I love that you keep reminding people of the blues and soul roots in country. I love that you do an Aretha song, but you don’t try to be Aretha. You are Kree.
Nicki Minaj: Something has to be said when you do queen songs.. Your confidence never waivers.

Taylor Swift ‘desperate' to meet Prince Harry

Swift, who currently dates English singer-songwriter Ed Sheeran, is keen to be included on guest lists for the Prince’s royal state visit to the US next month, according to British newspaper The Sun.

A source said: "Taylor’s desperate to get her name added on to the VIP lists of stars being lined up to meet Harry. She loves everything about him - especially his ginger hair and English accent"

Swift has previously dated actors Jake Gylllenhall and Taylor Lautner, plus One Direction singer Harry Styles and John F Kennedy descendent, Conor Kennedy.

Prince Harry is thought to have a ‘type’ - blondes - and perhaps Swift does, too. Sheeran has told how he was mistaken for the prince by Harry’s own cousins Beatrice and Eugenie, while performing at a wedding in the Caribbean.

The prince already has meetings lined up with other US celebrities, including Vanessa Hudgens, Scarlett Johansson and Jennifer Lawrence at parties in Washington and New York.

Swift will be taking her 'Red' tour to Washington in May, with Sheeran as her support act. They also sing together in the show.

South Korea vows fast response to North; U.S. deploys stealth jets

South Korea will strike back quickly if the North stages any attack on its territory, the new president in Seoul warned on Monday, as tensions ratcheted higher on the Korean peninsula amid shrill rhetoric from Pyongyang and the U.S. deployment of radar-evading fighter planes.

North Korea says the region is on the brink of a nuclear war in the wake of United Nations sanctions imposed for its February nuclear test and a series of joint U.S. and South Korean military drills that have included a rare U.S. show of aerial power.

North Korea said on Saturday it was entering a "state of war" with South Korea in response to what it termed the "hostile" military drills being staged in the South. But there have been no signs of unusual activity in the North's military to suggest an imminent aggression, a South Korean defense ministry official said last week.

"If there is any provocation against South Korea and its people, there should be a strong response in initial combat without any political considerations," President Park Geun-hye told the defense minister and senior officials at a meeting on Monday.

The South has changed its rules of engagement to allow local units to respond immediately to attacks, rather than waiting for permission from Seoul.

Stung by criticism that its response to the shelling of a South Korean island in 2010 was tardy and weak, Seoul has also threatened to target North Korean leader Kim Jong-un and to destroy statues of the ruling Kim dynasty in the event of any new attack, a plan that has outraged Pyongyang.

Seoul and its ally the United States played down Saturday's statement from the official KCNA news agency as the latest in a stream of tough talk from Pyongyang.

North Korea stepped up its rhetoric in early March, when U.S. and South Korean forces began annual military drills that involved the flights of U.S. B-2 stealth bombers in a practice run, prompting the North to puts its missile units on standby to fire at U.S. military bases in the South and in the Pacific.

The United States also deployed F-22 stealth fighter jets on Sunday to take part in the drills. The F-22s were deployed in South Korea before, in 2010.

On its part, North Korea has cancelled an armistice agreement with the United States that ended the Korean War and cut all hotlines with U.S. forces, the United Nations and South Korea.

NUCLEAR WEAPONS "NOT A BARGAINING CHIP"

Park's intervention came on the heels of a meeting of the North's ruling Workers Party Central Committee where leader Kim Jong-un rejected the notion that Pyongyang was going to use its nuclear arms development as a bargaining chip.

"The nuclear weapons of Songun Korea are not goods for getting U.S. dollars and they are ... (not) to be put on the table of negotiations aimed at forcing the (North) to disarm itself," KCNA news agency quoted him as saying.

At the meeting, Kim appointed a handful of personal confidants to the party's politburo, further consolidating his grip on power in the second full year of his reign.

Pyongyang took part in nuclear disarmament talks for five years aimed at paying it off in return for abandoning its atomic weapons program. Those talks fell apart in 2008. Some experts say the talks gave the North grounds to pursue a highly enriched uranium program that took it closer to owning a working arsenal.

Saudi Arabia to allow women's sports clubs - paper

Saudi Arabia is to license women's sports clubs for the first time, al-Watan daily reported, in a major step for an ultra-religious country where clerics have warned against female exercise.

Last year the conservative Islamic kingdom, where women must have permission from a male relative to take many big decisions, sent women athletes to the Olympics for the first time after pressure from international rights groups.

Until now, women's exercise facilities, including gyms, have had to be licensed by the Health Ministry and designated as "health centres".

Last April Watan, owned by a Saudi prince, reported the government had set up a ministerial committee to allow women's sports clubs. The General Presidency of Youth Welfare, which functions like a sports ministry, only regulates men's clubs.

In 2009 a member of the country's highest council of clerics said girls should not play sports lest they "lose their virginity" by tearing their hymens. State-run girls' schools do not have exercise classes.

Watan said on Friday the Interior Ministry had decided to allow women's sports clubs after reviewing a study that showed flaws in the existing system.

In August two Saudi women, a judoka and a sprinter, became the first to compete for their country in the Olympics. At least one had trained abroad.

Saudi women are barred from driving and must seek the permission of a male "guardian", usually a father, husband or brother, to marry, travel abroad, open a bank account, work or have some forms of elective surgery.

In January King Abdullah named 30 women to the Shura Council, an appointed body that debates future legislation and then gives non-binding advice to the government.

U.S. face-transplant recipient marries burn victim report

Face-transplant recipient Dallas Wiens married a fellow burn victim on Saturday in the same church where his face was melted in an electrical accident, the Dallas Morning News reported.

In 2011, Wiens received the first full face transplant ever performed in the United States.

Wiens, 27, was married to Jamie Nash of Garland, Texas, at Ridglea Baptist Church in Fort Worth before 150 people, the newspaper said on its website.

"I am blessed beyond measure that you have chosen me, and I love you with all of my heart," the daily quoted Wiens as telling Nash.

Wiens, a Fort Worth native, met Nash in 2011 at Dallas' Parkland Memorial Hospital, where they attended the same support group for burn victims.

Nash, 29, was burned over 70 percent of her body in a one-car accident in June 2010. Today she speaks at schools and churches about the perils of texting while driving.

Wiens was in a cherry picker painting the Ridglea church in November 2008 when his left temple touched a high-voltage wire. His face was burned to the skull and he was left sightless.

Wiens was unconscious at Parkland hospital for three months and underwent more than 20 major surgeries.

It is the second marriage for both Wiens and Nash. Wiens has a 5-year-old daughter, and Nash has a 10-year-old daughter and a son, 6.

Ireland Baldwin Can’t Stop Showing Off Model Figure

Ireland Baldwin recently announced she’s signed a modeling contract, but in case anyone missed the news, she’s now proving it through photos.

Alec Baldwin and Kim Basinger’s 17-year-old daughter has taken to multiple branches of social media this month to show off her 6’2” fab figure. On Instagram there’s a selfie of the teen standing in her bathroom, donning just a cleavage-baring Nike sports bra and super-short spandex shorts. On Twitter, she’s got a shot of herself standing in her kitchen downing Cheerios while wearing nothing but (a different) sports bra on top. And just this week on her Tumblr account, Baldwin flaunted her toned bod in a super-sexy shot, standing at the ocean’s edge with wet hair in a skimpy bikini.

It’s no surprise the celebrity offspring turned out to be a classic (and tall!) beauty. Mom Basinger rose to fame in the ‘80s playing plenty of the “leggy blonde” roles in films like “9 1Ž2 Weeks,” “Blind Date,” and “The Marrying Man,” which, ironically, introduced her to the man she’d eventually wind up marrying, Alec Baldwin.

While she takes after her mother in the looks department, she takes after her father when it comes to oversharing on social media. Baldwin keeps his more than 1 million Twitter followers up to date on just about everything, from his confrontations with the paparazzi, to his battle with an American Airlines flight attendant, to the details of his wedding day when he married new wife Hilaria Thomas.

Instagram But we’ve got to wonder what Basinger and Baldwin think of their teen daughter sharing the skimpy shots (not to mention posting pics of herself smooching a gentleman caller)? With a future modeling career ahead, they’re probably going to have to prepare themselves for even more risqué shots … and Ireland, it’s pretty clear, doesn’t seem the least bit concerned.

'Iron Man 3' In China Alternate Version Of Marvel Blockbuster Headed To Chinese Theaters

hinese film audiences will get to see "Iron Man 3," but not the version that screens in U.S. cinemas.

On Friday, Marvel announced plans for the "Iron Man 3" China release, noting that the Shane Black film will "feature a special appearance of China’s top actress, Fan Bingbing, and will offer specially prepared bonus footage made exclusively for the Chinese audience."

In addition to Bingbing's role, "Iron Man 3" also includes an appearance from Wang Xueqi, an acclaimed Chinese actor. Xuegi's role will also feature in the U.S. version of "Iron Man 3."

This isn't the first time an American film has prepared an alternate version for Chinese audiences. Earlier this year, the teen comedy "21 and Over" went through similar modifications. From earlier coverage:

According to The Los Angeles Times, the version of "21 and Over" that will premiere in China opens with [one character] attending a Chinese University, and then returning there after his birthday.

"'21 & Over,' in China, is sort of a story about a boy who leaves China, gets corrupted by our wayward, Western partying ways and goes back to China a better person,” Lucas said to The Times.

Films are sometimes edited down for Chinese release as well: 2012 releases "Skyfall" and "Cloud Atlas" were reportedly censored by the Chinese government because of content concerns. "Cloud Atlas," for instance, was apparently cut by 40 minutes to remove a section of the film that focuses on a same-sex couple.

Madonna Without Makeup Doesn't Look Like Madonna

Madonna, 54, stepped out in New York City this weekend looking like anyone but her usual glammed up self. The famed Material Girl was on her way to the Kabalah center in Midtown Manhattan with her kids David and Mercy in tow, reports New York Daily News.

The Vogue singer went incognito in a heavy black coat, a black fedora with her hair tucked under it, black shades, black booties and black leather gloves.

The former queen of style wore the same gloves to the GLAAD awards recently, complete with a Cub Scout uniform, where she presented Anderson Cooper with GLAAD's Vito Russo Award and lashed out against the Boy Scout's ban on gay members. "I think they should change their stupid rules," said the woman best known for her provocations.

Italy court Amanda Knox to be retried for Meredith Kercher murder

Amanda Knox was ordered to stand trial again for the murder of her roommate by Italy's top criminal court on Tuesday, but there appeared to be little the country could do to force her to return for the new hearings.

The Court of Cassation, Italy's final court of appeal, overturned the acquittals of both Knox and her then-boyfriend Raffaele Sollecito over the 2007 killing of British student Meredith Kercher.

In a statement responding to the decision, Knox slammed prosecutors and vowed to fight on.

"It was painful to receive the news that the Italian Supreme Court decided to send my case back for revision when the prosecution's theory of my involvement in Meredith's murder has been repeatedly revealed to be completely unfounded and unfair,”said Knox, who is now aged 25 and living in the Seattle area.

“I believe that any questions as to my innocence must be examined by an objective investigation and a capable prosecution,” she added. “The prosecution responsible for the many discrepancies in their work must be made to answer for them, for Raffaele's sake, my sake, and most especially for the sake of Meredith's family. Our hearts go out to them.”

Theodore Simon, one of Amanda Knox's attorneys, discusses the Italian supreme court's stunning decision to overturn her acquittal saying "we fully expect she will be exonerated."

Knox said that she and her family would “face this continuing legal battle as we always have, confident in the truth and with our heads held high in the face of wrongful accusations and unreasonable adversity."

Kercher, 21, died from knife wounds in an apartment that she shared with Knox in Perugia, Italy.

Prosecutors argued that Knox and Sollecito killed her after a drug-fueled sexual assault in a case that drew worldwide attention.

Mathew Knowles Talks Beyonce Split 'It Would Be A Lie If I Did Not Say It Has Been Difficult'

Mathew Knowles says that it was "difficult" splitting from Beyonce's management team.

In an exclusive interview with the Sun, Mathew revealed his 2011 split from Beyonce was mutual but still painful. “Normally I hate to talk about anything personal, but it would be a lie if I did not say it has been difficult," he said. “It was hard for me to let her go — it was hard for both of us to let each other go. And let’s be clear on that. She didn’t let me go, we both let each other go. That’s a big difference.”

“This was not a normal ending of a business agreement," he told the Sun. "This was a dad and a daughter and it was incredibly painful and it had some difficulties. But I try to always have a positive mind about things and you got to do it the right way.”

Two years ago, Beyonce announced she and her father had decided to part ways. "He is my father for life and I love my dad dearly," the singer said in a statement. "I am grateful for everything he has taught me."

Mathew had managed his daughter since she launched her career as one-fourth of Destiny's Child in the late 1990s, the Los Angeles Times noted. Despite the success of the group, all members eventually severed professional ties with Mathew. He was also previously accused of stealing money from Beyonce, a claim he vehemently denied.

The "Bow Down" singer described the tense fallout in her HBO documentary, "Life Is But A Dream."

"I’m feeling very empty because of my relationship with my dad," she said in a candid, privately recorded video. "And I’m so fragile at this point and I feel like my soul has been tarnished. Life is unpredictable but I feel like I had to move on, and not work with my dad. And I don’t care if I don’t sell one record. It’s bigger than the record, it’s bigger than my career."

'The Wolverine' Teaser Spoils 'X-Men' Cameo -- Or Does It

Twentieth Century Fox is putting the tease in teaser this week, with a three-day long rollout planned for the new "The Wolverine" trailer. On Monday, the studio released a Vine clip of the trailer (Vine is a social networking site that allows users to share six-second videos to followers); Tuesday will bring a 20-second glimpse of the new clip, followed by the whole megillah hitting the Internet on Wednesday. That's a lot of "Wolverine," but did Fox reveal too much?

Potential "Wolverine" spoilers ahead. As many fans noted, the six-second Vine clip features a shot of Famke Janssen, best known as the dearly departed Jean Grey from the "X-Men" franchise. Jean and Hugh Jackman's Wolverine had quite an entangled relationship in the original "X-Men" films, but she "died" in "X2" and then, after being reborn as Dark Phoenix in "X-Men: The Last Stand," was killed by Wolverine's claws. Janssen's appearance in "The Wolverine" was rumored as far back as October of 2012, when she was reportedly seen shooting an appearance alongside Jackman.

What remains unclear at the moment is where Janssen's appearance happens on the "X-Men" timeline. "X-Men Origins: Wolverine," the previous Wolverine film, happened before "X-Men"; "The Wolverine," however, takes place after the "X-Men" series of films, meaning Grey could be alive and well or appear in the film via flashback or dream sequence.

Watch the "Wolverine" Vine teaser below. "The Wolverine" is out in theaters on July 26.

Thrill seeker dies at towering Corona Arch, made famous by YouTube videos

Southeastern Utah’s Corona Arch, a towering geological feature glorified last year on YouTube as the “World’s largest Rope Swing,” has claimed the life of a 22-year-old thrill seeker. Kyle Lee Stocking died Sunday while trying to swing from the 140-foot-high arch, which has experienced a surge in popularity during the past year because of YouTube videos and sharing of videos on social media.

Standing out is the “World’s Largest Rope Swing,” a video (posted above) that has garnered more than 17 million views since it was uploaded on Feb. 15, 2012. (A behind-the-scenes video from the same group garnered nearly 1 million views.)

Because of this popularity surge, the Salt Lake Tribune reports, the destination has come to be known as the “Granddaddy of All Cheap Thrills,” and that climbers recently adapted their gear specifically for swinging like a pendulum from the sandstone arch.

Lt. Kim Neil of the Grand County Sheriff’s Office told the Tribune that the length of rope used by Stocking was “miscalculated and when he swung under the arch, he struck the ground … receiving fatal injuries.”

Because of its popularity and the obvious danger factor, Corona Arch, which is located on state and federal land near Moab, has been made off-limits to commercial outfitters specializing in extreme rope-swinging.

However, it remains open to private individuals for hiking and climbing.

Vorderman was leaving a business meeting at an office block in central London and decided to take the stairs instead of waiting for a lift, but lost her footing and ended up crashing face first into a brick wall.

The former Countdown maths whiz has been forced to cancel TV appearances for the next few weeks after the fall that also left her with cuts to her forehead and left eyelid that needed stitches.

Although she fell down only four steps, the impact made worse because her hands were in her pockets.

The host of ITV’s Food Glorious Food was taken to hospital by her boyfriend, ex-Red Arrows stunt pilot Graham Duff, and she had an operation to reset her nose.

Vorderman, 52, who has been ordered to rest after the accident on Thursday, said: “I feel like a complete idiot – I really do look like I’ve done eight rounds with Muhammad Ali.

“Because I had my hands in my coat pockets while I was running, I had nothing to break my fall except my head.

“The bruising round my eye has reached its peak. I will have a plaster on my nose for a week and hope that the swelling starts to go down.”

The presenter, who is resting at her home in Bristol, said she had stitches in her forehead and left eyelid, but added that she was “just counting my blessings I didn’t damage my skull or the left eye itself”.

“I’m feeling OK but I have had to cancel work for a few weeks – so no more Loose Women for a while,” she said.

Christina Aguilera Shows Off Slimmer Figure

On Wednesday, Christina Aguilera showed up to "The Voice" season four premiere flaunting a new, toned-down look -- and a slimmer figure.

The 32-year-old mother of one, looked confident in a black and white dress, and sky high Louboutin heels that accentuated her toned legs.

The singer, who was stick thin when she first burst on to the scene in 1999, has struggled with her weight for years, but she's never let it -- or comments about her weight -- get her down.

"I've been on all spectrums [weight-wise], I've been in this [business] for a long time ... You can never be too much of anything," she told reporters at the Television Critics Association conference in January 2012. "You can never bee too perfect, too thin, too curvy, voluptuous this that. I've been all sides of the spectrum as far as any female in this business."
