The pregnancy came as a shock to them both, especially as they had split up just a couple of months before.
But if these pictures are anything to go by, it looks as though Jack Wilshere and Lauren Neal are very much a couple again.
The Arsenal star, 19, and Miss Neal, 22, were snapped kissing and being very affectionate towards each other as they enjoyed a holiday on the Italian island of Sardinia yesterday.
They snuggled up on their sunloungers on the beach as Wilshere lovingly stroked her burgeoning bump.
And they hugged and kissed at the water's edge as they dipped their feet to cool off from the hot sun.
And pregnancy is suiting Lauren very well and she looked radiant in her shiny coral bikini.
The reunited couple are making the most of their time together before the start of the next football season in August and before their first child is born later this summer.
Wilshere found out in April that Lauren was pregnant, even though they had ended their three-year relationship a few months before.
The midfielder, who is emerging as England's hottest young star, was reported to be 'shocked but delighted' by the news.
