Salman Khan to be booked for assault and robbery

While his ongoing legal woes have not come to an end yet, Bollywood star Salman Khan seems to have landed in trouble again.

Now, Ravindra Dwivedi, a member of Brashtachaar Nirmoolan Samiti has lodged a complaint against Salman for assaulting him and snatching away his important documents, reports The Indian Express.

According to the complainant, the incident took place in November last year, when he was aboard a Mumbai-Delhi flight. Salman got into a fight with him, abused him and ordered his bodyguards to take away all the important documents which he possessed.
Following the complaint, Magistrate AD Lokhande has directed the airport police to investigate the matter and lodge an FIR against Salman if he is guilty.

If the allegations are proved to be true, Salman will be booked under IPC section 323 for causing hurt, IPC section 504 for insult with intention to provoke breach of peace, IPC section 506 for criminal intimidation and IPC section 392 for robbery.

Superstar Salman Khan hints at marriage with Iulia Vantur

Superstar Salman Khan has hinted at a possibility of getting hitched by the end of this year as he is tired of being single for a long time.

The 48-year-old Jai Ho star, who was at his funniest best at last evening's India Today Conclave 2014, did not rule out the chances of marrying Romanian beauty Iulia Vantur, whom he is allegedly dating for quite some time.

"Now I'm in transit period and I like it. From the age of 15, I did not get a transit period. For the first time, I have such a chance to sigh. I am sighing more since it has been two-and-a-half years. It's time to stop sighing because something soon will happen in my life. I follow humanity. I follow Islam, Christianity, and follow right thing as much I can. I have been kind of blessed. Father is Pathan, mother is Hindu, second mother is catholic, and brother-in-law is Punjabi. Wife, I am thinking to bring from outside," Salman said.

Salman has often been linked with his co-stars and also being termed as a 'possessive' boyfriend. He admitted that he was a miserable lover but a great friend.
"When you are in a relationship you try everything to see that she doesn't leave you. You try to be good. You give her a silent treatment. You yell, cry and when nothing works you say go. I thought they were the most correct people for me. Great girls bad boyfriend. I have not been like the most incredible boyfriend. I could be the friend and I have heard this from the ex-girlfriends also that (he is) a great friend but miserable boyfriend," Salman said.

The actor also thanked his parents - father Salim Khan and mothers Sushila Charak Khan and Helen - for being with him at his worst times.

"No child would have given them as may problems. I was a naughty kid. They had to hear slanderous things about their son from others - the jail episodes, the cases that have come. If these things would not have come, my father and mother would have looked as young as I look now," he said

Salman Khan explains his outburst on Bigg Boss 7

Bollywood superstar Salman Khan has taken to Twitter to explain his outburst against 'Bigg Boss 7' contestant Kushal Tandon.

Salman slammed Kushal for being rude to housemate Tanisha and his attempt to escape the reality show house over a fight during a task this weekend.

But, many of Salman's fans believed that the actor was a bit "unfair" on Kushal by taking Tanisha's side.

However, Salman, who had claimed that Kushal's action may force him to not return as Bigg Boss host next season, said his anger was genuine.

"You see one hour, I see the whole deal. Guess some of you guys may not react when someone speaks to your family's female members or women in that manner. But I do and most of us men and women stand up against men who run them down," Salman tweeted.

The 47-year-old actor said he decided to reply after seeing comments by 'Bigg Boss' followers.

"I am only answering your question about Bigg Boss because you are following me. This is a game. It's on TV so I like to keep a check on it."

He also explained why he did not say anything to Armaan or Andy for the fights they get into.

"According to what you saw on TV, both should have been out but there was a lot more to the fight than what you saw. There can only be that much put on TV," he added.

Many of Salman's followers said that the actor was 'unfair' to Kushal after his special 'Weekend Ka Wow' episode on Saturday.

"What most disgusting is how Salman Khan entirely supports Tanisha and her ways and then talk about being fair. How so Mr Khan? UnfairSalman," a fan wrote

"Ok, you are from a respected family, Tanisha. But UnfairSalman biased-ness is so not done! We love Kushal and Gauhar," fan Alok Trivedi tweeted.

Salman Khan's leading lady Sana charged with attempted kidnap of girl, goes absconding

Salman Khan's leading day in his home production Mental, Sana Khan has been declared absconding after she was charged with alleged attempted abduction of a 15-year-old girl for rejecting her cousin's marriage proposal, police said today.

Navi Mumbai police have already arrested four persons --Sana's cousin Naved Khan (22) and his three friends Kshitij Dubey (22) and Vismit Ambre (23) and a 17-year-old boy minor -- in the case.

Hunt is on to trace the 25-year-old actress, said Panduranga Sawant, inspector at Turbhe police station here.

"Our teams had also gone to the residence of Sana in Mumbai but she was not there," Sawant told PTI.

As Sana has gone into hiding, Mental's shooting schedule has reportedly got disrupted.

According to police, the victim studying in ninth standard had befriended Naved on social networking site Facebook in November last year. Later they started meeting.

After a few months, Naved proposed marriage to her but the girl refused. However, Naved kept pursuing her when she stopped meeting him and discontinued her FB account.

"On April 30 evening, when the girl was returning home in Sanpada, Naved stopped her at Mora circle area. He was found accompanied by three of his friends and Sana, who was at the wheel of a BMW car," said Sawant.

Naved and his friends tried to drag the girl into Sana's car, but she managed to free herself and ran towards her house, Sawant added.

Sana, Naved and his friends were already at her house when the victim reached home, where they had a heated argument before leaving.

    Happy birthday to Shreya Ghoshal

Shreya Ghoshal started her singing career at the age of 16, when Sanjay Leela Bhansali spotted her on the sets of Sa Re Ga Ma Pa. He was so mesmerised by the young singer’s voice that he made her an offer instantly: to be the voice of Paro in Devdas, in 2000. The film released a couple of years later and Shreya picked up several awards – including a National Award and a Filmfare trophy – for the Best Playback Singer (female). The time when only one or two singers ruled the musical roost is today a thing of the past and a huge number of singers have come and gone in the last decade, but Shreya has managed to hold her own, growing into one of the top playback singers of the industry. We look at some of the iconic songs that established her as one of the most remarkable and versatile singers of this generation….

Dola re, Bairi piya and Silsila ye chahat ka – Devdas

While Dola re (a duet Shreya sang with Kavita Krishnamurthy) got Shreya several awards, Silsila… and Bairi piya were her first solos. As soon as the music of Devdas was out, it was clear that the young singer had great potential.

Jaadu hai nasha hai – Jism

The sensuality and soothing texture of her voice won her accolades for this one, considered to be one of the sexiest songs of all time.

Yeh ishq hai -Jab We Met

This song became hugely popular and it is one of the most fun and melodious songs she has sung.

    Piyu bole – Parineeta

Shreya, with Sonu Nigam for company (the two have created magic on several occasions), sang this melodiously romantic song with total sweetness and innocence.

Ooh la la – The Dirty Picture

This one had to have an 80s feel and Vishal-Shekhar felt that Shreya could bring out the sexiness while keeping the old world charm alive. It became one of the biggest hits of her career.

    Chikni Chameli- Agneepath

Shreya’s first out and out item number, Chikni Chameli is a fast-paced number. Not many believe that Shreya is capable of singing a high-voltage tune. But she proved that she can bring forth energy and naughtiness when a song demands it!
