Namaste, Heidi! Miss Klum gives New York a treat as she shows off her yoga moves with a very public workout

Anyone taking a leisurely stroll through New York yesterday would have been in for a real treat.
Because it's not every day that you see a supermodel bending and stretching into all sorts of shapes right in the middle of the grass.
But sure enough, there was Heidi Klum, twisting her toned and trim frame into all sorts of shapes right in full view of anyone lucky enough to be walking past.
Klum, 38, joined a yoga class at the Riverbank State Park yesterday and was snapped maneuvering herself into several positions.
And considering she admitted that she doesn't 'do yoga', the fresh-faced German-born star barely even broke a sweat and seemed to be thoroughly enjoying herself as she effortlessly stretched her way through the class.

She was joined by hip-hop legend Russell Simmons, 53, and fashion designer Rachel Roy, 37, for the class, which took place in the glorious New York sunshine.
And after their session, Simmons, who is best known for co-founding the record label Def Jam, took to his Twitter page.
He wrote: 'Taught yoga to @HeidiKlum and class go to heidiklum.aol.com. (Inspiration to workout initiative).'

Late on Friday, New York became the sixth (and most populous) state in the nation to pass a law allowing gay marriage, and in celebration, stars joined supporters of the measure to cheer the historic milestone on Twitter.

Pink gave an all-caps jump for joy, shouting, "CONGRATULATIONS!!!!! ABOUT TIME!"

Harris tweeted, "It PASSED! Marriage equality in NY!! Yes!! Progress!! Thank you everyone who worked so hard on this!! A historic night!" His elated partner, David Burtka, announced, "I've already proposed, he said yes! Thank god!" (He soon added a clarification: "Neil and I have been wearing rings for years. We have been engaged for a while. It did not just happen.")

Russell Simmons, who gave counsel to Tracy Morgan during the comic's recent homophobia controversy, logged on to tweet, "I applaud the work of our state gov't and all of the advocates on tonight's vote to legalize same sex marriage." He added, "The rights u take for granted are only valid if u fight to give those same rights to others."

Lady Gaga said, "I can't stop crying. We did it kids."
