Former "Real Housewives of New York" star Bethenny Frankel showed off her athletic figure while playing pool with her daughter in Miami. The 42-year-old television personality and Skinnygirl founder gave birth to daughter Bryn nearly three years ago, on May 8, 2010, but has since filed for divorce with the father of her child, ex-husband Jason Hoppy.


On Friday, Frankel and Hoppy reunited at a New York divorce court to go over the custody arrangements for Bryn. According to the New York Daily News, both refused to speak to the press about the divorce proceedings, but, at one point, Frankel emerged from the hours-long meeting looking "shaken."

Vorderman was leaving a business meeting at an office block in central London and decided to take the stairs instead of waiting for a lift, but lost her footing and ended up crashing face first into a brick wall.

The former Countdown maths whiz has been forced to cancel TV appearances for the next few weeks after the fall that also left her with cuts to her forehead and left eyelid that needed stitches.

Although she fell down only four steps, the impact made worse because her hands were in her pockets.

The host of ITV’s Food Glorious Food was taken to hospital by her boyfriend, ex-Red Arrows stunt pilot Graham Duff, and she had an operation to reset her nose.

Vorderman, 52, who has been ordered to rest after the accident on Thursday, said: “I feel like a complete idiot – I really do look like I’ve done eight rounds with Muhammad Ali.

“Because I had my hands in my coat pockets while I was running, I had nothing to break my fall except my head.

“The bruising round my eye has reached its peak. I will have a plaster on my nose for a week and hope that the swelling starts to go down.”

The presenter, who is resting at her home in Bristol, said she had stitches in her forehead and left eyelid, but added that she was “just counting my blessings I didn’t damage my skull or the left eye itself”.

“I’m feeling OK but I have had to cancel work for a few weeks – so no more Loose Women for a while,” she said.

Ah yes, the catastrophes that can be avoided simply by putting on a pair of shorts.

Security footage posted to YouTube shows a naked hotel guest sneak out to the hallway to dispose of a dirty food service tray, only to find himself locked out of his room in the nude.

The video, "Never Do This In Hotel," shows the nude dude awkwardly avoid guests outside of his room, hide his nether regions with dirty dishes, slip into an elevator, encounter a mother and child and plead with hotel staff to quickly produce a new room key.

Sound familiar?

"Comedy fans may recall that a similary fate once befell Rowan Atkinson’s TV character Mr. Bean," the New York Daily News points out.

If this video turns out to just be a stunt, nobody -- your dear Weird News editors included -- will be surprised. Still, shameful and avoidable nudity is always good for a laugh.

On the Oscars red carpet, Anne Hathaway shared how she had only picked out her dress two hours before.

She chose the pink Prada for it's "simplicity" and because she found out her original dress choice would be similar to another one worn on the red carpet.

The problem?

She had supposedly already committed to wear a Valentino gown, Women's Wear Daily reported.

The design house had already alerted the media that Hathaway, the favored Oscar winner for supporting actress, would be wearing one of its designs.

Hathaway has a long-time relationship with the design house and her snub "ruffled some feathers," WWD reported.  The designer even made her a custom gown for her wedding last year.

Valentino could have also used the exposure -- the only other major celebrity wearing one of its gowns was Jennifer Aniston, who shares a publicist with Hathaway. Aniston's outfit was named on some of the "worst-dressed" lists.

In a statement, Hathaway apologized for the snafu.

"Though I love the dress I did wear, it was a difficult last-minute decision as I had so looked forward to wearing Valentino in honor of the deep and meaningful relationship I have enjoyed with the house and with Valentino himself," Hathaway said, according to WWD. "I deeply regret any disappointment caused.”

Selena Gomez and Vanessa Hudgens hit up Vanity Fair’s Oscars party together Sunday night at Sunset Tower Hotel in West Hollywood, California. Fresh off a European promotional tour for “Spring Breakers,” the two stars have been inseparable lately.

Gomez, 20, and Hudgens, 24, arrived at the star-studded fete together and posed for pictures on the carpet. Inside the bash, the ladies rarely left each other’s sides and seemed to be enjoying themselves alongside A-listers including Jennifer Aniston and Justin Theroux, Natalie Portman, Reese Witherspoon, and Sandra Bullock.

Although it was definitely a girl’s night out for Gomez, don’t think that’s because the “Love You Like a Love Song” singer is holding out hope for a reunion with her ex, Justin Bieber.

A 23-year-old math teacher at Overland High School in Aurora, Colorado is in a heap of trouble after a local television station publicized the bawdy — but awesome — contents of her Twitter account.

Carly McKinney’s Twitter page contained half-naked photos and all kinds of chatter about marijuana, including a boast of pot possession on school grounds, reports KUSA-TV.

“Watching a drug bust go down in the parking lot. It’s funny cuz I have weed in my car in the staff parking lot,” McKinney recounted in one Twitter post.

Another tweet reported that McKinney was high while grading her students’ work.

“Naked. Wet. Stoned,” reported still another one.

Other tweets on McKinney’s account were also controversial, KUSA reports.

“Instead of being productive, I’ve been on Twitter…,” the first-year teacher admitted in one message that appears to have been posted during the school day.

“Just got called Ms. McCutie. Points for being clever, however you are still jailbait,” read another tweet.

    The OnlineSlangDictionary.com defines “crunk” as a blend of “chronic” — a slang term for marijuana — and “drunk,” notes KMGH-TV. Other definitions include “extremely fun” and “angry.”

McKinney told KUSA she and a friend had created the Twitter account as a parody. She maintains that her partner in tweeting is the one responsible for the offending posts.

She also maintained that she never brought any illegal drugs to campus.

Officials with the Cherry Creek School District are on the case, according to the station. They reportedly met with McKinney on Tuesday morning. Since then, she has been placed on administrative leave.

The school district does train teachers on the use of the Internet and social media, the Denver-area NBC affiliate added. School officials say the basic mantra is: Don’t publish anything on the web that you wouldn’t write on the blackboard in your classroom.

The Oscars red carpet is often referred to by the celebrity press as the most powerful catwalk in the world. It is the gilded stage for which haute couture dresses are made; bright lights fall on film stars dressed by the world's most accomplished designers in some of the most expensive items of clothing ever made.

But for many of the nominees, what goes on in the run-up to Oscar Sunday involves weeks of hunger, sacrifice and last-minute liposuction. "It is brutal," British facialist Nichola Joss told the New York Times this week, of the pressure of the high-definition closeup on Hollywood actors. "You can see a hair follicle. You can see a pimple before it is a pimple."

Hollywood insiders talk of actors who plot their beauty treatments at different points around Los Angeles in a bid to lose photographers between pedicure appointments and derma-filler treatments. Anti-anxiety pills such as Xanax are said to be widely used by nominees.

"The entire city stops normal activity and the Oscars take over; the atmosphere is surprisingly serious," says gossip columnist Dean Piper, who is in LA to cover the Oscars. "Most of the A-list have been through the St Tropez tanning suite at the Four Seasons by now, so their skin colour can settle for Sunday. But I'm seeing stylists whooshing around town in their Range Rovers, pulling gowns from boutiques where they are being altered, and the nail bars are heaving. The actresses I've seen at 'lunch' are simply pushing leaves around their plate."

High-definition photography and the prevalence of social media means that actors now face having the minute details of every angle of their body and face appear in hundreds of photos online. As a result, the stakes for red-carpet glamour have never been higher.

"You know it's the Oscars because suddenly everyone is on the cayenne and lemon juice diet, and talking about appointments with their facialist, podiatrist, personal trainer, stylist, dietitian, hairdresser and teams from the big fashion houses like Valentino or Dior," says one well-known Hollywood stylist.

Proud parents Amber Rose and Wiz Khalifa welcomed son Sebastian Taylor less than 24 hours ago. And the couple have already shared the first photo of their little guy, whom Wiz has affectionately nicknamed "the Bash."

Early Friday morning, Rose tweeted "Best daddy ever.... Up with the baby so Muva can go back to sleep :-)," along with an adorable Instagram picture of Khalifa holding Sebastian.

Khalifa later tweeted, "Thanx for all the love guys. Bash took his first poop, had a good meal now he's peacin ✌" (thanks for sharing, Wiz!).

He also joked, "My wife sed she juss wants a jacc & coke, a cheesesteak, and a ciggarette :-) Thass why im marryin that woman!"

Rose and Khalifa have been chronicling their pregnancy via social media since they announced they were expecting last September. Though they revealed Sebastian's name only yesterday, they hinted at their baby-name choice during an interview on the radio show "Big Boy's Neighborhood" in January. "It's a total boss name for a boy," Rose said. "It's funny because I came up with the name for our boy and immediately he came up with a rapper [nickname] for him.”

A former contestant from Season 2 of the extreme makeover/beauty pageant hybrid "The Swan" says the reality show ruined her life, and is speaking out about the celebrities who are slated to appear on Fox's two-hour special "Celebrity Swan."

At 34 years old, Lorrie Arias appeared on "The Swan" in 2004, and underwent more plastic surgery procedures than any other contestant -- going on to get a face lift, nose job, brow lift, upper lip lift with fat transfer, upper/lower eye lift, full body lift, breast implants, tummy tuck and liposuction on her knees -- but did not go on to compete in the beauty pageant component of the show.

Today, Arias told the New York Post that her surgeries were for nothing, since she's "a 300-pound mess of a person who is afraid to go outside.”

The former reality show contestant is speaking out about Fox's decision to revive the show, which was once called "the most sadistic reality series of the decade," with a two-hour special that will feature celebrities. The show is currently still casting, but producers allegedly have their sights set on stars like former White House intern Monica Lewinsky and "Happy Days" alumna Erin Moran.

Arias told RadarOnline, it's not the plastic surgery that's the problem, but the lack of psychological support during and after the series that left her spiraling downward. The former reality show cast member claims producers offered only four 15-minute therapy sessions during the two-and-a-half months of filming, and she couldn't afford therapy when she returned home.

Arias told the website, she believes Moran -- who is currently broke, homeless and living like a recluse -- will need major therapy before and after the show, calling the former actress "unstable," but thinks former White House intern Monica Lewinksy will be "fine."

As it turns out, strippers and underage teens do not the perfect birthday party make.

At least that's the opinion of the South Glens Falls Police, who arrested New York mother Judy Viger on Monday for allegedly organizing and paying for a stripper surprise for her son's 16th birthday.

Viger, 33, was charged with five counts of endangering the welfare of a child, according to the Associated Press. The incident reportedly occurred at Spare Time Bowling Center in South Glens Falls, N.Y., in November.

The AP reports that Viger is accused of hiring two women to dance with -- and on -- teens at the upstate bowling alley. The news outlet notes that pictures from the party appeared to show a "scantily clad, tattooed woman clinging upside down to a seated teen."

Saratoga County District Attorney James Murphy told The Post Star that police had interviewed numerous witnesses and parents. Officials said some children at the party were as young as 13.

WRGB called Tops in Bottoms, the company that reportedly supplied the strippers, and the man who answered the phone told the station the incident was “blown out of proportion.”

Similarly, a man who said he was Viger's friend argued "police have it all wrong," Fox23 News writes.

It's been a big week for Sports Illustrated. First, a blogger leaked the swimsuit issue's much-anticipated cover, upstaging David Letterman's big reveal on Monday. Now website Jezebel is calling out the men's magazine for using minorities as "props" in photos featuring models in bikinis posing in seven different continents.

Sports Illustrated coverJezebel argues that the magazine is perpetuating racial stereotypes by drawing power and class lines between the Westernized models and the "primitive locals" and points to a long history of media using people of various ethnicities as "extras", citing Nylon magazine, the Free People catalog, British Vogue, and J-Crew.

Depending on where you look, the reaction has been mixed, even among the men who are supposed to be titillated. On Jezebel's website, one male commenter wrote, "Pics of woman with local natives is NOT hot, it's exploitative, so the mission is fail right there. Oh and exploitative. I do not know what they were thinking….fail all around." While another guy wrote, "Some of the examples are ›‹reaching a bit…the one with the boat….why pick that for China? Especially when everything I read about China is how they're an industrial powerhouse." And one helpful reader on Sports Illustrated's Facebook page pointed out, "Technically speaking they were not shot in all seven continents. While Easter Island may belong to Chile, it's a Polynesian island, and not part of the South American continent." Oy.

Shine reached out to Sports Illustrated and Scott Novak, SVP, Communications & Brand responded with "No comment" but added that the man who appears in the Namibia photos "may have done other editorial work before."

"These photos depict people of color as exotic backdrops," David Leonard, Ph.D., Associate Professor in the Department of Critical Culture, Gender, and Race Studies at Washington State University, tells Yahoo! Shine. "As with beautiful oceans, picturesque trees, people of color are imagined as exotic, as novel, as foreign, as uncivilized and as a point of comparison for the civilized white beauties scantily clad in bathing suits. Beyond functioning as props, as scenery to authenticate their third world adventures, people of color are imagined as servants, as the loyal helpers, as existing for white western pleasure, amusement, and enjoyment."

"As Jezebel writes, where are the images and pictures of bustling cities, skyscrapers — the pictures reify dominant narrative about the uncivilized and primitive third world. They define people of different races as 'other' and the sexual white female body as desirable, as they're to be watched, consumed, and enjoyed by men in lounge chairs," he adds.

Evelyn Hu-DeHart, Professor of History and Ethnic Studies, Director, Center for the Study of Race and Ethnicity in America (CSREA) at Brown University tells Yahoo! Shine: "It's understandable why some would find these photos disturbing. The juxtaposition of scantily-clad white, modern, cosmopolitan and western woman against natives, animals, exotic scenery, primitives (African native), traditionals (Chinese fisherman; ethnic minority girls in China); The exception is the photo of the Spanish bullfighters, in which case the model is suggestive of the bull.  The white models are tourists and colonials."

Apparently Katy Perry didn't get the Grammys wardrobe memo. Perry is yet another star who pushed the limits of the wardrobe mandate at the 55th Annual Grammy Awards, with a tight mint green, cleavage-baring gown that blatantly violated the memo CBS sent out to Grammy attendees. The mandate emailed earlier this week by CBS' standards and practices department demanded stars "please be sure that buttocks and female breasts are adequately covered," and Perry certainly disregarded that request Sunday night.

When he asked Perry about her look, Perry discussed her inspiration.

"I was inspired by Priscilla Presley in the '70s," the pop star explained. Without addressing her scandalous dress, she chose instead to focus on her flowing hairstyle. "The big hair, closer to God," she said.

Seacrest's co-host Giuliana Rancic later asked how he kept focused during the interview. Seacrest had a quick response: "When you are my height you have a lot of experience staying focused at that eye line. Lots of practice."

On Saturday night Perry did a much better job adhering to those guidelines at the Grammys MusiCare Person Of the Year Gala, which honored Bruce Springsteen. The singer wore an orange Alexander McQueen gown for the ceremony, and received rave reviews for her fashion choice.

Perry is a nominee and presenter at the 55th annual Grammy Awards Sunday night. Earlier this week it was reported that Perry would not be taking beau John Mayer to the ceremony, but instead would be attending with friend and "Girls" actress Allison Williams.

Poor Taylor Swift can't seem to catch a break. On the heels of her breakup from British boy wonder Harry Styles of One Direction, rumors of an alleged sex tape recently surfaced and drove the Internet wild.

But wait just a minute before you Google "Taylor Swift sex tape" (seriously, dude). The whole thing turned out to be a phishing scam banking on Haylor's likability, reports Yahoo.

A Facebook message that read "The famous singer Taylor Swift had her iPhone hacked Monday and a sex tape between her and former boyfriend Harry Styles has been leaked on the Internet. Taylor's publicists are trying to take down all of the websites hosting it, but we found a working one! Watch the video before it's taken down!" led the many clickers to a form where they had to fill out their personal details. We're hoping no one in their right mind went through with it, but hey, sex sells.

And since it does, the tabloids are now competing to run the most intimate detail about Taylor Swift's love life. Star magazine wrote that "all she wants to do is kiss for hours, which is probably why none of the guys she dates stick around," according to Hollywood Life. OK! magazine printed that "lyrics have been written [about Harry]," insinuating that Taylor is already recording heartbreak songs about her last beau.

Another report says Styles, who just turned 19 in the company of a stripper, doesn't care about Swift's songs and doesn't care if she writes one about him like she did about John Mayer or Jake Gyllenhaal. Yet a different report says the two love birds will reunite after they both perform at the BRIT Awards Feb. 20.

An international red band trailer for director Harmony Korine’s new film Spring Breakers has made its way online.  The movie centers on a group of girls (played by Vanessa Hudgens, Selena Gomez, Ashley Benson, and Rachel Korine) who go to disturbing lengths to keep their spring break going, and their journey becomes even stranger when they encounter unhinged drug dealer, Alien (James Franco).  Like the first domestic trailer, this clip highlights the film’s overall nuttiness and Franco’s sublime work as Alien (a nugget of Alien wisdom: “Titties and big booties, y’all, that’s what life is about”).  It also happens to involve more cursing and Britney Spears sing-alongs.

Photo agency X17 snapped the engaged 20-year-old singer showing off her fit figure in a pair of jean cutoffs, black Doc Martens and a floral crop top that seemed to be ripped straight from the pages of Sassy magazine.

Cyrus, who is engaged to "Last Song" co-star Liam Hemsworth, has undergone a dramatic physical transformation in the past year, having noticeably trimmed down and cropped her hair into a short pixie cut.
