Day 3 of the 19th edition of the International Indian Film Academy Awards (IIFA) that is in full swing in Bangkok currently, saw prestigious honours bestowed upon various cinema legends last night, from Sridevi to Irrfan Khan. This was complemented by the glamorous fashion statements Bollywood celebrities made on the IIFA green carpet, which, needless to say, made things more interesting. Here are some of the looks from the event that caught our eye.

Keeping up with her strong style streak, Kriti Sanon left onlookers gaping on Day 3 as well, in her beautiful Mark Bumgarner gown. Stylist Tanya Ghavri accessorised the glittery blue-grey voluminous gown with a pair of silver hoops and we like how Sanon complemented the look with a dewy sheen and soft pink lips.

While Shraddha Kapoor impressed us on Day 1 of IIFA in her Reem Acra sheer midnight blue number, the actor’s satin gown from the same designer was a bit of a letdown. While the plunging neckline did add oomph to the baby pink piece, we think the vast swathes of the voluminous creation looked bland.

The Ishaqzaade actor set the shutterbugs clicking with his black suit-white shirt curation that was accentuated by a colourful blue scarf and ultra cool glasses. We wonder if the usually conventionally dressed actor is taking style inspirations from bestie Ranveer Singh. Source

IIFA awards 2018 are currently being held at Bangkok, Thailand. The two days event from June 22 to June 24 will see a host of Bollywood celebrities attending the gala night. The main IIFA night is slated for tonight where we’ll see major Bollywood stars including Varun Dhawan, Kartik Aaryan, Arjun Kapoor, Kriti Sanon and Nushrat Bharucha perform live on their iconic songs. Ranbir Kapoor is expected to attend the event amidst his ongoing Sanju promotions. Will Alia join him for the same is a question that needs an answer? Salman Khan starrer Race 3 is just two days away from its release and the excitement around the movie is just like any other Salman film. On Tuesday, the makers of the action-thriller held a special screening for industry folks. Those who came to watch the film included Salman’s brother Sohail Khan and wife Seema Khan along with their two sons, filmmakers David Dhawan and Sajid Nadiadwala, cricketer Mahendra Singh Dhoni with wife Sakshi Dhoni and Huma Qureshi with her parents among others.

The star cast of the movie Jacqueline Fernandez, Daisy Shah, Bobby Deol, Anil Kapoor, Saqib Saleem and Freddy Daruwala looked pepped up for the release of their film.

On a day out with two of her children, Prince George and Princess Charlotte, the Duchess of Cambridge attended the Houghton Horse Trials in Norfolk. The event is held every year, and purports to be "a fantastic day out for all the family," so it makes sense that Middleton took George and Charlotte along.

And for the day out, Kate Middleton selected the perfect outfit, in the form of a subtle blue floral dress from Zara. George and Charlotte's outfits also stood out because they wore matching shoes. The siblings wore Hampton Classic canvas shoes in different colors—George wore navy blue, while Charlotte donned pink. The children's shoes are also affordable and retail for around $47.

Middleton was also spotted taking Prince George on an air ambulance vehicle—his dad, Prince William, previously worked as a pilot for theAir Ambulance Service, and it's likely that George was excited to find out more about his dad's role.

If the grapevine is to be believed, Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt have kindled a romance, now that they are working together in Ayan Mukerji's Brahmastra. And Ranbir might just have confirmed the rumours. According to Pinkvilla, when he was asked about his relationship with Alia, he said it was "too new" to talk about.

Ranbir and Alia have already finished shooting for the first schedule of Brahmastra in Bulgaria. Brahmastra, which also stars Amitabh Bachchan and Mouni Roy, is being made as a fantasy trilogy, the first installment of which is slated to release in 2019.

Sonam Kapoor, who is currently busy with the promotional duties of Veere Di Wedding, sliced out time from work commitments to review her cousin Janhvi Kapoor's debut appearance on a magazine cover. Janhvi is such a stunner! She recently featured on the June edition of Vogue India and covered June in the most fabulous way. Subsequently, Sonam has everything nice to say about her "baby sister", whose magazine cover debut was interestingly timed a decade after Sonam made her first appearance on a magazine. "My stunning baby sister Janhvi Kapoor on her first cover of vogue 10 years after my first cover with Vogue India! Couldn't be prouder little (sister)," Instagrammed the Veere Di Wedding actress along with a copy of the cover.

A recent video of Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas making an appearance at LA's Dodgers Stadium has sparked rumours of a possible romance between the two stars. The video of the two entering the stadium together to watch a baseball match surfaced on social media recently leading to fresh speculation.

Their baseball date was followed by holidaying on a yacht with friends Wilmer Valderrama and Chord Overstreet where Priyanka can be seen getting cosy with Nick in pictures.

This is not the first time that Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas have been seen together in public. They generated quite a buzz when Nick walked the Met Gala red carpet with Priyanka as her date in 2017.

Earlier, when Jimmy Kimmel had asked Priyanka about her Met Gala date with Nick on his show. She had said, "We were both wearing Ralph Lauren and so we decided to go together. It was fun. I didn’t ask his age. What is it? 11?"

A day after union minister Jitendra Singh said that the continued incidents of violence in Jammu and Kashmir despite the Centre putting in place a ceasefire have exposed terrorists and their sympathisers, the state's top cop gave a different take on it.

DGP SP Vaid tweeted on Tuesday that the ceasefire has been successful thus far. "The initiative of Hon'ble PM has helped in general improvement in law & order. The situation especially in south Kashmir has eased and is serving as confidence building measure for families who want their boys to return back home," he wrote.

The differing opinions of the minister and the DGP stem from the different figures of clashes and violence given by central government forces like the CRPF and the state police since the start of the Ramzan ceasefire.

The CRPF figures accessed by CNN-News18 said that from May 17 to May 20, 21 incidents of stone pelting were reported in the Valley, injuring three CRPF personnel and damaging 28 vehicles. However, the J&K Police said only six incidents of violence have been reported between the said period.

“The Ramzan ceasefire has to be contextualised. Between April 1 and 5 this year, there were 92 incidents of stone pelting; comparatively, there have been only six since the ceasefire," the DGP said.

Dr Jitender Singh, the minister of state in PMO, had told CNN-News18 that the continued incidents of stone pelting, violence, etc expose separatists who are egging the stone pelters on. "It shows people who follow Islam do not have any conviction to follow the tenets of Quran, the sanctity of Ramzan and therefore I am proud that forces are taking retaliatory measures. Then you can't blame our forces," Jitender Singh said.

"May 21 is a test case to see if the ceasefire is working. Every year violence erupts on this day when death anniversary of Abdul Gani Lone and Mirwaiz is commemorated. This year May 21 was peaceful. Even the PM's visit went off peacefully," a top J&K police officer said.

Rebutting arguments that the ceasefire will help terrorists regroup, J&K police officials said that 4 LeT terrorists were killed on the May 19. Data released by CRPF showed that in the month of Ramzan violence usually goes down in the Valley.
