  • Britney Spears & Las Vegas Star's Hotel Gig Confirmed

Britney Spears may become Las Vegas' finest after all.

Rumors began swirling in January that the Queen of the Comeback would be relocating to Vegas for a residency with the Caesars group, or one of the numerous other hotels reportedly bidding for her.

Last week, however, representatives from Caesars spoke to Buzzfeed about Spears, shooting down the rumors. The rep said that the hotel "is engaged with a number of today's top artists in discussions regarding headlining residencies at our venues in Las Vegas," and is "always interested in having artists with the caliber of Britney Spears performing at our theaters."

Spears' manager Larry Rudolph is telling a different story. Rudolph spoke to Extra and said "Spears' Las Vegas gig is 100% on." Extra reports that Spears is in the process of deciding between a Caesar hotel and one other property, and a formal announcement will be made once she has picked.

Bob Marley Birthday Reggae Singer Would Have Turned 68 Today

The beloved Jamaican singer died of cancer in 1981 at the age of 36, but his legacy lives on through his music. Marley is credited with helping spread both reggae sounds and the Rastafari movement to a worldwide audience throughout his 18 years in the business.

According to Urban Islandz, "Legend: The Best of Bob Marley and the Wailers," which was released three years after his death, is reggae's biggest selling album to date, with more than 10 million copies sold in the United States and an estimated 25 million worldwide. And that's no surprise.

Despite his absence, Marley has continued to garner success, being honored with such awards as BBC’s song of the millenium for "One Love" and getting inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 1994. Also in 1999, Time Magazine named Bob Marley & The Wailers' "Exodus" as the greatest album of the 20th century.

Last year, Ziggy Marley talked to The Huffington Post about the first-ever family authorized documentary, "Marley," chronicling the life and times of his legendary father. Ziggy explained another date that is associated with the global icon, saying, "I think 4/20 is a special day. Of course, with our culture we use herb for so many different things, not just for smoking. I think it’s something that we’re not going to hide from, and I think it’s appropriate because it’s a part of our culture and a part of Bob’s music. If you love Bob’s music, well guess what, herb is a part of Bob’s music."

Marley is survived by Ziggy and his 10 other children, Sharon, Cedella, Stephen, Robbie, Rohan, Karen, Stephanie, Julian, Ky-Mani and Damian.

    Kourtney Flaunts Post-Baby Body

Kourtney Kardashian, who welcomed her second child last July, reportedly dropped a whopping 44 pounds after giving birth to daughter Penelope — and now Celebuzz has the photos of the end result.

Seen in a parade of colorful bikinis, the Kourtney & Kim Take Miami star flaunts her flat stomach and toned limbs in a series of freshly-released photos.

”It took me twice as long as last time but I feel healthy and really much better about it,” wrote about the body transformation in her Celebuzz blog early this January.

“It’s all about priorities and living life!”

According to Kardashian, 33, her success is attributed to a combination of exercise, healthy eating habits and active mommy duty — such as pushing around a stroller — in between playtime with Penelope and three-year-old son Mason.

“It wasn’t even an option to think about going crazy and overdoing it with exercise [this time around],” the mom-of-two said in an interview with Us Weekly.

To drop the baby weight, the mom-of-two enlisted the help of celeb trainer Tracy Anderson, who in the past has worked with A-listers such as Gwyneth Paltrow and Madonna.

Kardashian also attributes her weight lost to her sister Kim‘s unwavering support.

“If she wasn’t scheduling the workouts, I probably wouldn’t have been as motivated,” she admitted.

Katie Holmes Single And Loving It, But Does 'Eventually Want To Find A Man'

Katie Holmes has been on her own for seven months now, after calling it quits with her husband of almost six years, Tom Cruise, last June.

But despite being single in New York City, the 34-year-old is reportedly cautious about getting involved with another man. According to RadarOnline.com, Holmes is taking things slow as she recovers "from the emotional scars" left behind by her tumultuous marriage to Cruise, whose "controlling ways" allegedly led to their highly publicized divorce.

“Katie’s in a dilemma, because she wants to date but is concerned where it could lead to from there,” a family insider tells Radar, adding, "She’s worried that if she commits herself fully to another man, she will have to give up the freedom she’s enjoying so much at the moment. As a single woman, she has no one controlling her nowadays, telling her what to do or who to see and she absolutely loves it!"

However, Holmes does miss having a companion and "doesn’t want to be alone for the rest of her life," according to the source.

But let's not forget about Holmes' 6-year-old daughter Suri, who has been keeping her busy in the Big Apple. Just this weekend the pair was spotted at a performance of "Cinderella" on Broadway and even got to go backstage to meet the cast, the New York Daily News reports.

Britney Spears Photos Singer Steps Out In Boxer Shorts

Quick, someone get the doctor! Britney Spears looked on bemusedly at son Jayden James as they made their way to the veterinarian, with Spears clutching a tiny white dog to her chest. The 31-year-old pop star must have left the house in quite a hurry, judging from her I-don't-care outfit of dress socks, boxer shorts and a gray tank top.

Spears made news last week when it was reported that the former "X Factor" judge was not a candidate for a headlining gig at Caesars Palace in Las Vegas, contrary to previous reports.

Justin Bieber Says Ladies Love His 'Lolly'

Watching Justin Bieber grow up right before our eyes has been an interesting experience. Just a few years ago, he was that charming, preternaturally mature young man filming music videos in bowling allies. Times have changed.

"Lolly," a new Maejor Ali song featuring Bieber and Juicy J, uses a worn-out metaphor for penis as the focal point of a brag track about how much the ladies love ... sucking on their respective ... "lollies."

Bieber actually raps on the song, boasting about watching Netflix with your girlfriend and "poppin' Pellegrino" (OK, the Pellgerino line is actually pretty choice). Juicy J's verse won't surprise anyone who has ever heard the "Bandz a Make Her Dance" rapper's work.

In fact, this isn't the first time Juicy J's used this lazy metaphor. "Lolli Lolli (Pop That Body)," a 2008 Three 6 Mafia single features Juicy J painting a similar scene. And that song was released just two days before Lil Wayne's candy stick single, "Lollipop" (fun fact: The Three 6 Mafia song was also originally called "Lollipop," but Juicy J, DJ Paul and Lord Infamous decided to play nice). In case that's not enough for you, check out D4L's "Laffy Taffy," which uses the titular sweet as a stand-in for bottom. Perhaps Southern rappers could do with a new meme.

Oh, and because it's 2013, the song includes a quick MDMA reference, too ("bandz a make her dance, molly makes her lose her underwear"). Pop music continues to toe the line with date rape.

Chris Kyle Dead: Author Of 'American Sniper' Shot And Killed At Gun Range

Chris Kyle, an ex-Navy SEAL who wrote the best-selling book American Sniper about his service in Iraq, was shot and killed at a gun range in Texas, multiple outlets reported Saturday night. A second man was also killed.

According to local TV station KHOU, officials said that Kyle was shot at point-blank range "while helping another soldier who was recovering from post traumatic stress syndrome" at a range near the town of Glen Rose.

The Dallas Morning News reports that Lancaster, Texas police arrested a suspect, 25-year-old Eddie Ray Routh, after a brief chase.

Kyle had become well-known for his exploits in Iraq, where he deployed four times, set the record for sniper kills at 150, received numerous commendations, and, according to the Stephenville Empire Tribune, was given the nickname "The Devil of Ramadi" by insurgents

Alicia Keys Belts Out National Anthem At The Super Bowl

So much has been said about Beyonce's inaugural lip-syncing that Alicia Keys' prep work was all but ignored. But on Sunday, Keys made good on her earlier promises to deliver an all-new version of "The Star-Spangled Banner" when she sang the national anthem at the Super Bowl.

Keys' rendition was powerful and moving -- and she didn't have any problems singing the lyrics as they're written. That's more than can be said for Christina Aguilera, who famously goofed when she performed the song at the 2011 Super Bowl.

Keys sat at a piano as images of American soldiers overseas were inter-spliced with footage of her performance and emotional athletes.

"I'm really excited about it, I can't even lie," Keys said in advance of Sunday's performance. "I have to rehearse it totally, as if it's a brand-new song, because it is actually a brand new song in the style that I'll deliver it. I'm actually rehearsing it like a maniac."

The singer wasn't the only one who was excited: Sports books offered bets on the duration of her take on the anthem. One site set the over-under at 2 minutes and 15 seconds. Kelly Clarkson, Carrie Underwood, Jennifer Hudson and Jordin Sparks all performed the song in less than 2 minutes and 10 seconds. Billy Joel performed it in 1 minute and 30 seconds.

Though she did not perform during the inauguration itself, Keys also had a hand in inaugural festivities. She performed for Barack and Michelle Obama at the Commander-in-Chief's Ball, tweaking the lyrics of her latest hit, "This Girl Is On Fire," to celebrate the first couple.

Iron Man Makes Super Bowl-Sized Comeback In New Trailer

Marvel scored yet another field goal Sunday night (February 3) with a Super Bowl spot that finds our favorite iron-clad hero rescuing 13 innocent airplane passengers as they're sucked out of a huge hole and plummeting ever so swiftly to their doom.

Tony Stark grabs a hold of the first person, getting the others to join him by the hands. As the plane above them explodes in a plume of fire, Tony begins to realize that he can only carry the weight of so many people. So what's an Iron Man to do in this situation?

    'Iron Man 3'
"Iron Man 3" sees Tony Stark coming up against his most formidable adversary yet: the Mandarin. Played by Sir Ben Kingsley, the Mandarin is the leader of a deadly terrorist group known as the Ten Rings. With an intellect on par with Stark and an uncompromising need for vengeance, this technology-crazed criminal puts Tony to the test both mentally and physically.

As Tony sets out to find those responsible for emotionally scarring his loved ones, he's eventually forced to survive by his own devices; not the ones that he's been making in his laboratory but instead the ones that he was born with.

If rumors are true that "Iron Man 3" will be largely inspired by Warren Ellis' "Extremis," Tony will be forced to inject himself with a techno-organic virus, that will forever change his life, in order to defeat an enemy of similar accord.

Of course, this is all based purely on speculation. All we know for sure is that the Mandarin will be the main antagonist of the film and that Aldrich Killian and Maya Hansen (two major characters from the "Extremis" storyline) will be making an appearance as well.

Directed by Shane Black and starring Robert Downey Jr. as Tony Stark, "Iron Man 3" hits theaters May 3, 2013.

    Super Bowl 2013 Commercials

Super Bowl commercials are an American institution. You know another American institution? Making snap, sweeping judgments on work others spent months and millions creating. We're combining both right here, with quick-hit takes on the best (and the worst, can't forget the worst) ads of Super Bowl XLVII. Winners, losers and full video ... you'll get it all right here. Here is a sampling of the commercials, followed by our winners and losers:

    Budweiser, "Brotherhood"
Plot: Guy raises horse from ponyhood, horse goes on to be a Clydesdale, horse spots former owner years later ... sorry, it's a little dusty in here ...
Verdict: OH COME ON. Are you kidding me? Super Bowl commercials aren't supposed to make you cry! They're supposed to make you laugh or cringe or go reload your plate. This? This ad makes you want to call your parents, hug your kids, and maybe just buy a horse. Flat-out winner out of the gate. Going to be a lot of people dabbing their eyes with cocktail napkins when this one airs.

    The NFL, "Leon Sandcastle"
Plot: Deion Sanders decides he wants back in the League, and dresses up as "Leon Sandcastle."
Verdict: Putting aside the fact that if Deion Sanders still had game there'd be no need for a "Leon" (reality! boooo!) this was a fun goof, and we foresee a future character showing up in NFL ads for awhile.

    Jeep, "Whole Again"
Plot: We've still got people fighting overseas, you know.
Verdict: It's always a little sleazy when a company yokes itself to patriotism to push product, but the message here overwhelms any buy-our-vehicles shill.
    Dodge Ram, "Farmer"
Plot: Talking about how awesome farmers are. That's it.
Verdict: Probably the most effective ad of the night, even if most of America doesn't even know a real farmer.
