  • Holly Madison to Her Baby Name Haters: I Don’t Care What You Think!

Holly Madison is so ecstatic over motherhood that she's thumbing her nose at the haters who have criticized her baby name selection.

The new mom, who welcomed daughter Rainbow Aurora on March 5, dismissed her critics in a brief but succinct blog post she published over the weekend.

"There are a lot of smug haters out there who bag on my choice of a name, but I don’t care about what they think," wrote the 33-year-old, who welcomed the baby with her party promoter beau, Pasquale Rotella. "I want my daughter to be proud of who she is and learn to speak up and stand up for herself at a young age. I spent most of my life being a people-pleaser who worried about what other people thought or thought was cool and I don’t want that for her."

Madison went on to talk about how she picked the name Rainbow, noting that she didn't invent it. It was actually the name of a girl she knew when she was growing up.

"I have always loved the name Rainbow," shared Madison, who was born Hollin Sue Cullen. "There was a girl in my school a few years younger than me named Rainbow and I was so envious of her name because it was so pretty and unusual. She was a perfectly normal, well-adjusted, sporty girl, by the way, so I’m not worried about my daughter being 'traumatized' by having an unusual name."

The reality TV star concluded by writing, "I couldn’t be more blessed to have such a perfect daughter and have never been happier than I am now!"

Kim Kardashian’s Vampire Facelift Does It Work?

The 32-year-old reality star, always up for looking "young," underwent a so-called vampire facelift on Sunday's episode of her show "Kourtney and Kim Take Miami." The procedure is the same one that Oscar attendees received via a gift certificate in their swag bags last month. So, what is it and, more importantly, does it really work?

Dr. Jeffrey Spiegel, a board certified plastic surgeon practicing in Boston, has performed the procedure "periodically" in the last five years, and tells omg! that people who like the latest and greatest treatments tend to ask for it.

Here's how he describes it: "What you do is you take out from a person's arm about two teaspoons full of blood - a standard blood draw, like you would get when you go to the doctor — and add some chemicals, spin it down, and separate it a certain way, and you end up with some fluid that can be injected into the face," Spielgel explains. "It's similar to — if you ever scraped your knee, that kind of yellowy stuff that you see oozing out of you - it's like that. So then you inject this back in into the area where there are wrinkles. The thought is that the natural body products that you inject in are going to stimulate your body to produce more collagen, provide some volume in itself, perhaps it contains stem cells that are gonna help - the goal is to get a much better appearance using your own body's blood."

He estimates the cost is about $1,000, which is comparable to that of proven fillers like Juvaderm or Restylane. However, he says it might not be that much of a bargain if the results don't last.

"For a little while, you will sees an improvement because you just put an injection in," Spiegel says. Still, he's not so sure the effect will last.

Neither is celebrity esthetician Reneé Rouleau.

"It just sounds more about sensationalism than it is about really driving a proven result," she says. "I've been in the skincare industry 25 years, and there's always things that come and go. It's kind of like this: Anything that is really a miracle, everybody will know about it. And this blood facial's been around already for a couple years and it's not a household name, so that right there tells you it's not being embraced. And if it's not being embraced, it's not that effective. There are always trends with ingredients, but the ones that are really proven are the ones that stay around."

Dr. Spiegel admits that he understands why the vampire treatment appeals to some. Technically, you're just moving blood from one place to another.

Erik Spoelstra Steps Out With His Girlfriend

The coach of the defending NBA champion Miami Heat has presided over his squad's 18-game winning streak, the longest in franchise history and in the league this season.

And, as if things couldn't get any more exciting for Spoelstra, the famously private coach recently stepped out with his girlfriend for the first time.

The Miami Herald reports that the 42-year-old coach is dating 24-year-old Nikki Sapp, a Miami native and a former Heat dancer.

Apparently Spoelstra has been dating Sapp for nearly two years, but the couple only recently made their relationship public. Sapp is now a director at the Guy Hepner art gallery in West Hollywood, Calif., and so she splits her time between Miami and Los Angeles.

Spoelstra and Sapp have attended a few charity events together -- the Miami Heat Family Foundation night of "Motown Revue" and a fundraiser for Lauren's Kids, a group that works on preventing the sexual abuse of children.

Chris Brown Rant: Singer Goes Off About How To Talk To A Woman

The singer, 23, went off at Emerson Theatre in Hollywood early Thursday a.m., wildly ranting to the crowd about how to treat a woman -- and it was all caught on tape. In a video exclusively obtained by TMZ, Brown interrupts the DJ, grabs the mic and starts explaining how he keeps Rihanna where he wants her.

Be prepared, this is NSFW and pretty foul.

"Every guy in this building has said one thing to their female ... If you're not an insecure n----, and you let her have fun with her friends, I applaud you. But you gotta say that one thing to her, and I made this s--t up. [sings] Don't make me have to tell you again, that that's my p---y baby! It is mine, baby, babe, mine. So you better not give it away!"

Brown continued by telling the men in the crowd to heed his advice and make sure their "b---hes" know who's boss.

"So every person in this motherf----- building, if you got a bad b---h you better say that to her. Cause she might f--k another n----."

Rihanna's on-again love has been trying to make a conscious effort to assure people that he's deeply sorry for the now infamous 2009 Grammys incident, where he beat Rihanna and tarnished his image. Brown recently told the Mirror that night is "the deepest regret of my life, the biggest mistake."

Mark Hunt Steps In to Face Junior dos Santos at UFC 160

Mark Hunt will face former UFC heavyweight champion Junior do Santos at UFC 160 on May 25 at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas.

MMAFighting.com  first reported the news, and UFC officials later confirmed the match.

The announcement comes days after UFC president Dana White said Hunt had turned down the fight with dos Santos.  A phone conversation between Hunt and White seems to have been what made the fight happen.

dos Santos was originally scheduled to face Alistair Overeem on the UFC 160 card, but a quadriceps injury in training forced Overeem out of the bout.

Hunt (9-7) is on a four-fight winning streak and is coming off of a knockout win over Stefan Struve at UFC on Fuel TV 8 on March 3.  dos Santos (15-2) is coming off of a loss to Cain Velasquez at 155 in December, where he lost the heavyweight title.

UFC 160 is headlined by a rematch between Velasquez and Antonio “Bigfoot” Silva.  Hunt vs. dos Santos will be the co-main event.

Nation’s most expensive rental may be most famous for ‘Godfather’ horse head

The billiard room contains a massive stone fireplace mantel that Hearst brought from San Simeon.Last month, we brought you the nation's most expensive home for sale, Dallas' $135 million (or so the owner hopes!) Crespi-Hicks estate.

Not to be outdone, the Beverly House in Beverly Hills, Calif., is muscling its way into the stratosphere with what is believed to be the most expensive rental home in the nation: a staggering $600,000 a month.

You probably know the house without even realizing it: Remember the scene from "The Godfather" where a Hollywood mogul finds a horse head in his bed? That was filmed at the Beverly House. But the home has an illustrious history beyond that, too: William Randolph Hearst left San Simeon -- the California setting of his never-finished Hearst Castle -- to move into the Beverly House, which paramour Marion Davies bought for him in 1946. And John F. Kennedy honeymooned at the Beverly House with Jackie.

Plus, the Kevin Costner/Whitney Houston vehicle "The Bodyguard" was filmed there.

Some vital statistics: The 50,000-square-foot estate, at 1011 North Beverly Drive a few blocks above Sunset Boulevard, has 17 bedrooms and 29 bathrooms on 3.7 acres. The compound includes a guesthouse over an eight-car garage, a security cottage, a separate two-bedroom apartment, a four-bedroom gate lodge, two projection rooms, spa facilities and even an Art Deco nightclub. An outdoor terrace seats up to 400. The billiard room contains a massive stone fireplace mantle brought from San Simeon.

Curbed recently mapped the 10 most expensive rentals on the market, and the next closest competitor appears to be Pierce Brosnan's Malibu spread at less than half the price -- a mere quarter-million a month.

Afghan leader alleges US, Taliban are colluding

Afghan President Hamid Karzai on Sunday accused the Taliban and the U.S. of working in concert to convince Afghans that violence will worsen if most foreign troops leave as planned by the end of next year.

Karzai said two suicide bombings that killed 19 people on Saturday — one outside the Afghan Defense Ministry and the other near a police checkpoint in eastern Khost province — show the insurgent group is conducting attacks to help show that international forces will still be needed to keep the peace after their current combat mission ends in 2014.

"The explosions in Kabul and Khost yesterday showed that they are at the service of America and at the service of this phrase: 2014. They are trying to frighten us into thinking that if the foreigners are not in Afghanistan, we would be facing these sorts of incidents," he said during a nationally televised speech about the state of Afghan women.

There was no immediate response from the U.S.-led military coalition, which is gradually handing over responsibility for securing the country to Afghan forces.

Karzai is known for making incendiary comments in his public speeches, a move that is often attributed to him trying to appeal to those who sympathize with the Taliban or as a way to gain leverage when he feels his international allies are ignoring his country's sovereignty. In previous speeches he has threatened to join the Taliban and called his NATO allies occupiers who want to plunder Afghanistan's resources.

His latest remarks come as his government is negotiating a pact with the U.S. for the long-term presence of American forces in Afghanistan and just days after an agreement to transfer the U.S. prison outside of Kabul to Afghan authority fell through. His comments also came while U.S. Defense Secretary Chuck Hagel is making his first visit to Afghanistan since becoming the Pentagon chief.

Karzai said in his speech that any foreign powers that want to keep troops in Afghanistan need to do so under conditions set forward by Afghanistan.

"We will tell them where we need them, and under which conditions. They must respect our laws. They must respect the national sovereignty of our country and must respect all our customs," Karzai said.

Karzai offered no proof of coordination, but said the Taliban and the United States were in "daily negotiations" in various foreign countries and noted that the United States has said that it no longer considers the insurgent group its enemy. The U.S. continues to fight against the Taliban and other militant groups, but has expressed its backing for formal peace talks with the Taliban to find a political resolution to the war.

Watch Tiger Woods’ golf ball get stuck in a palm tree at the WGC-Cadillac Championship

It didn't seem there was a single golfer in the field at the WGC-Cadillac Championship that was going to stop Tiger Woods, but a tree? Sure, that could do it.

On the 17th hole in the third round at Doral, Woods pushed his tee shot right of the fairway, and it looked like it would be fine until the ball never landed on grass. Sure enough the ball got stuck in the top of a palm tree, and lucky for Woods he was able to identify it was his ball, taking a drop by the tree instead of having to go back to the tee to hit his third shot.

Woods would make bogey, follow it up with a clutch birdie on the 18th hole to keep his four-shot lead over Graeme McDowell. Tiger's record isn't too shabby when leading by three shots or more on the PGA Tour; he's never lost. Take that, palm tree.

Update: Kurt Stelzer was the man to climb the infamous "Tiger Tree" and snag the golf ball after everyone finished on Saturday.
