India may import onion to stabilise prices that have soared to Rs. 90 per kg in the national capital, commerce and industry minister Anand Sharma said on Tuesday. Talking to reporters on the sidelines of an event here, Sharma blamed hoarders for the recent spike in prices. “We will import onion if there are proposals and requirements so that we can stabilise the prices,” he said.
