  • Rupert Murdoch Files for Divorce from Wendi Deng Photo

Media mogul Rupert Murdoch, worth $12.3 billion, has filed a divorce action in Manhattan against his wife of thirteen years, Wendi Deng.

Legal documents indicate their union has been “irretrievably broken” for more many months.  They were last photographed together at the Vanity Fair Oscar Party in Hollywood at the end of February.

The divorce action comes two weeks before News Corp. plans to break up the media empire into two separate companies – an entertainment unit called 21st Century Fox and a publishing entity that will retain the News Corp. name.

Deng was born in China and met Murdoch at a Hong Kong cocktail party in 1997.   The 30-year-old graduate of Yale School of Management was working as a junior executive for STAR TV in Asia.  She left her position after they wed aboard his private yacht in 1999.

Wendi Deng Murdoch, 44, has amassed an unspecified number of non-voting shares in the company over the course of her marriage and their girls are beneficiaries of 8.7 million non-voting shares that are currently held in trust.

Murdoch’s wife gained international attention in July 2011 when she deflected a cream pie that a protester hurdled at her husband when he was being questioned by members of British parliament regarding his knowledge of a phone hacking scandal.

Upon Murdoch’s death, his four eldest children, who have voting shares, will have a controlling interest in News Corp.

Nancy Jo Sales On 'The Bling Ring' And How Kids Have Changed

Nancy Jo Sales is having a moment. The Vanity Fair contributing editor's terse 2010 article about the largest robbery ring in Hollywood history, “The Suspect Wore Louboutins” hits the big screen today, as the source material for Sofia Coppola’s “The Bling Ring.” And Sales just released her first book, a companion release to the film (also titled “The Bling Ring") that happens to be perfect summer reading: a play-by-play on the motivations and methods of a group of fame-obsessed L.A. kids who systematically stole some $30 million in gems, clothes, and other valuables from the homes of unsuspecting celebrities. That too, during the global recession. In researching this latest project, Sales, who has long covered what she calls the "kids beat," considered the shifting American fixation with wealth, fame and celebrity. The Huffington Post sat down to chat with the writer for her take on what ails us.

The Huffington Post: The story of the real bling ring is a pretty juicy one, and perfect for a magazine piece. How did you land on it?

Nancy Jo Sales: I saw an AP wire online -- it was just a four or five paragraph story, but as soon as I saw it, I said, ‘I have to do it.’ It suggested itself immediately as such an iconic thing, to most of the media. I was out in California in two or three days, and I felt like I was fighting for the story. Every time the kids had a court date, there was a [huge] press corp, as if they were covering a war.

HP: In the book, you talk about how the kids’ sense of self-importance seemed to infect everybody involved.

NJS: Everyone. The cops and lawyers started acting like celebrities. They were getting barraged with press requests. People say, ‘Why are kids so obsessed with fame?’ Everybody's obsessed with fame.

HP: Did you ever feel yourself getting caught up in the mania?

NJS: I'm very uncomfortable in those settings unless I'm there as a reporter. My job is to observe things. I think if I've been successful at all, it’s because I’ve been able to maintain a distance from celebrity culture.

Having said that, I did go on Twitter for the first time about 6 months after I wrote this book. And I'm doing this interview with you. I want people to read my book! But I want to do it without any kind of celebrification of self.

HP: Do you think social media makes that hard?

NJS: Social media exists, there's no taking it away. But it’s just a broadcasting tool. It doesn't have to be used for constant self-promotion. I think the way kids use it will change if the messages that are promoted by our culture change.

First Woman In Space, Valentina Tereshkova, Honored 50 Years After Historic 1963 Flight

It was another Soviet first in space 50 years ago – putting a woman in orbit. And 26-year old Valentina Tereshkova carried her part with grace, shouting "Take off your hat, sky, I'm coming!" as she blasted off.

President Vladimir Putin praised her during a meeting at his residence Friday, marking the anniversary of her flight, which came a little more than two years after the Soviet Union put the first man into orbit. Putin awarded her the Order of Alexander Nevsky for meritorious public service, one of the highest Russian honors.

Tereshkova's three-day mission instantly made her a global celebrity and a poster image for Soviet space glory.

However, behind the scenes there were strong concerns about the flight and Tereshkova's account of the mission differs dramatically from recollections of other veterans of the nation's space program.

Recalling her flight, the 76-year old cosmonaut says she felt no fear despite what she described as a glitch that might have stranded her in space. Others have faulted her performance and questioned whether she was able to deal with an emergency on descent.

Soviet space officials started considering a space mission by a woman soon after Yuri Gagarin's flight in April 1961, seeing it as another chance to advertise the nation's prowess.

To make the mission even more spectacular for propaganda purposes, Moscow decided to score another first by making it the first simultaneous flight of two spaceships. Valery Bykovsky blasted off aboard the Vostok-5 ship on June 14, 1963, and Tereshkova followed him on June 16.

Tereshkova, who was given the call sign of Chaika (Seagull), blasted off faultlessly and stayed in good shape until day two, when flight controllers noted that she was slow or unable to fulfill their commands and looked tired and unresponsive.

"She sounded apathetic in conversations with ground control," Vladimir Yazdovsky, the chief doctor of the Soviet space program wrote in his memoirs. "She largely limited her movements and kept sitting almost motionless."

Alice Goodwin Topless Tributes Just for Dad

For all the love we give the ladies around here, this might be the once a year we celebrate, honor, and otherwise give a completely gratuitous shoutout to the men who bring home the bacon, or, at least, eat a ton of it. Sure, moms are much hotter and produce the next generation, but dads are there doing their part too. So on this Friday before Father's Day, why not give just the sires a little lust in their hearts, courtesy of the faptastic funbags of bodacious brunette, Alice Goodwin.

If Alice Goodwin doesn't get your motor cooking for a little reproduction action, I'm not sure what will. The busty Britty babe loves her some lacy lingerie, and, even more so, stripping out of it for your viewing pleasure. Or Dad's. On his day. He only gets once a year. If he can get a girl like Alice in the same timeframe, he'd be a very happy man. Just saying, tits are better than ties.

Eyeball Licking Causing Pinkeye In Japan

A dangerous fetish has eye experts seeing red and those who practice it seeing pink.

It is eyeball licking -- a strange erotic activity wherein participants actually put each other's tongues on each other's peepers.

Alternatively called "oculolinctus" or "worming," eyeball licking has few public advocates but they include Elektrika Energias, a 29-year-old environmental science student in the U.S. Virgin Islands.

"My boyfriend started licking my eyeballs years ago and I just loved it. I'm not with him anymore, but I still like to ask guys to lick my eyeballs," she told The Huffington Post. "I just love it because it turns me on, like sucking on my toes. It makes me feel all tingly."

It's also a very intimate act, she said.

"I don't ask just anyone to do it. Guys I like a lot are more likely to not think it's so weird. I've never had anyone turn me down though," she said.

Eyeball licking has been around at least since the mid-2000s and a simple YouTube search brings up hundreds of videos from oculolinctus lovers who want to share their peeper porn with others.

However, eye experts are worried that this dangerous fad is gaining popularity with preteens, especially after news reports of elementary school students in Japan who dared to test their ocular boundaries and caused multiple cases of pinkeye, otherwise known as conjunctivitis, the Daily Caller reported.

In one classroom of 12-year-olds, one third of students confessed to "worming" or being "wormed." Officials only noticed something was up when some of the licked students showed up to school wearing eyepatches, ShanghaiList.com reported.

Currently, eyeball licking is only attempted by a small percentage of adventurers, including HuffPost Weird News journalist Andy Campbell, who said he had his own eyeball tongued to see what it's like.

"It's strange to have something touch the eye without it hurting," Campbell said. "I was a receiver, not a giver. I don't see it as a sexual thing. But you have to be comfortable with someone."

San Diego ophthalmologist Dr. David Granet are worried that the news of eyeball licking will cause it to spread.

"Nothing good can come of this," Granet warned HuffPost. "There are ridges on the tongue that can cause a corneal abrasion. And if a person hasn't washed out their mouth, they might put acid from citrus products or spices into the eye."

Dr. David Najafi, an ophthalmologist in La Mesa, Calif., said if the licker has a cold sore, it is possible to spread herpes into the eye as well.

"The cornea is very sensitive and could be scarred," he warned.

Other dangers from "oculolinctus" include conjunctivitis or "pink eye," a swelling of the thin, filmy membrane that covers the inside of the eyelids and the white part of the eye.

Lucy Pinder Talks Being a Glamour Model, Licking Faces and Baking

Hey, guys. If you couldn’t tell by the title or the little tags that say “interview,” I interviewed my future girlfriend Lucy Pinder. Of course, she doesn’t know it yet but we’ll get there. Oh, we will.

If you don’t know who Lucy Pinder is, you should be ashamed. Ashamed, I say. Luckily, I’m here to educate you.

Lucy Pinder is one of the most well-known UK Glamour models and who’s appeared both topless (check out a NSFW gallery here) and not-topless in The Sun, The Daily Star, Nuts, FHM, Maxim, et al. She’s also been in tv, commercials, videos and even has an advice column. According to CoEd, she’s the 3rd most popular glamour model in the UK. You can currently see her running through my dreams in the middle of the night.

Here, Lucy takes a few moments to answer some questions we shot over. She’s very effusive.

You’re my favorite glamour model and I’ve always wondered, has anyone ever told you you have an amazing pair of… eyes?
I bet you say that to all the girls ;D You are too kind, I do get quite a few comments about my….. Eyes……

Going back to the beginning. You were discovered on a beach. How did that go? Did a guy just come up to you and say, “Hey, your breasts look fantastic. Would you let me take pictures of them?”
Not quite! I was approached by a professional photographer Lee Earl and his female assistant who was freelancing taking general pictures of people on the beach enjoying the 2003 heat wave we had in the UK. He was very professional and showed me examples of his work in the paper and asked if I would mind being photographed.

I was really reluctant but my best friend Harriet egged me on! He took some snaps of me in the sea, with my bikini on, and said he thought I might do well in the glamour industry and that he’d be in touch if the newspaper liked my pictures. So nothing sleazy. It all sounds a bit odd but he was a genuine guy.

Beth Humphreys Talks Her Tiny Pea Head, Being a New Year Baby and E-Cups

Beth Humphreys, if you don’t know, is a UK glamour model and has appeared in Nuts, Front, FHM, Loaded, etc. She was born on January 1, 1994 which makes her a New Year baby and sports an E-cup which we learn is not all its cut out to be. Beth was nice enough to answer a few of our questions and it feels like she even laugh cried after one of them. Though things escalated quickly at the suggestion of a drinking challenge.

How did you get your start in glamour modeling and why did you decide to do it?
I have no idea. Just fell into it and just for fun and to make some money while I studied at uni. Didn’t think I would start to do as well as I have in such a short time.

I take it you’re not a Belieber as you’ve said Justin Bieber sounds like a pussy-boy. I don’t think anyone is going to fight you on that but can you explain more?
Hahahahaha I dunno. I said that spur of the moment. He just seems a little child like a bit girly even though he’s trying to change his appearance and dress with more sense now

Are you definitely going to college to study chemical engineering? Why? Unless you’re blowing stuff up, chemistry seems kind of boring.
No. Plan changed. I’m now doing economics and finance. I still love chemistry though

People say you’re on too much sugar. Are you sure it’s not just the cocaine?
Hahahahaha I don’t do cocaine! Omg. I do for some reason have a lot of energy but think that’s down to my youth. I’m only 19.

Your friend calls you a monkey-head but I’ve been trying to figure out what kind of monkey you look like and I’m stumped. Any hints? Hahaha I don’t know.
I think it’s when I do my cheesy grin when I’m happy. I have a pea head and look like a monkey.

You say you can handle your liquor and that it doesn’t affect you. I don’t believe you. I’d like to propose a challenge. Do you accept? Name your terms.
I accept.Whoever dies first from alcohol loses .

What’s your favorite drink? Baileys and Soya milk Your nipples are pierced. What was it like getting them done? I mean, besides the quick pain(?), did the person doing it just look at your breasts and mouth “oh. my. god.” while shedding a single tear? I’ve had them done twice now.

It hurts a little but looks hot naked however they are not pierced anymore.

Lindsay Lohan Leaves Betty Ford, Heads To New Rehab Clinic

Lindsay Lohan has left the Betty Ford Center and is now at a new rehabilitation clinic in Malibu.

Lohan reportedly checked out of Betty Ford Wednesday and checked into Cliffside Malibu, a drug and alcohol rehab center in Los Angeles, according to TMZ. Cliffside Malibu is a luxury facility that overlooks the Pacific Ocean situated on two acres, and boasts a pool, meditation gardens and a professional chef. People magazine also confirmed with sources close to the star that she has left the Rancho Mirage facility.

The move was allegedly approved by the prosecutors, the judge and Lohan's lawyer, all of whom agreed that Betty Ford is better for a 30-day program as opposed to the 90-day sentence she is required to complete. A source tells TMZ it's "doubtful" Adderall is allowed at this center either.

Fox411's Pop Tarts column reports Lohan left Betty Ford because she has endured "several problems" while in lockdown there since entering on May 3.

Last month, Dina Lohan said her daughter was doing well at Betty Ford.

“I just spoke to Lindsay at Betty Ford. She’s doing great,” she told the New York Daily News on Mother's Day. “She’s clear, she’s happy, she’s healthy... She just needs to breathe and find out who she is again. And she’s going to stay there and do that.”

After she is done with her rehab stint, Lohan is slated to appear at the Venice Film Festival on Aug. 28 for the screening of her upcoming flick "The Canyons," according to E! News. The 26-year-old still has about two more months of treatment to complete, and is expected to finish in early August.

Kim Kardashian, Pregnant For 8 Months Photo

A very pregnant Kim Kardashian made her way out of the car in order to dine with pal Jonathan Cheban at Casa Vega in Beverly Hills Wednesday. The eight-month-pregnant star, who is due to give birth sometime in July, wore a stretchy moss-green dress and flat sandals that emphasized her swollen belly.

Kardashian's boyfriend, rapper Kanye West, recently told the New York Times in a revealing interview about his feelings on fatherhood. "One of the things was just to be protective, that I would do anything to protect my child or my child’s mother. As simple as that," he said. "I just don’t want to talk to America about my family. Like, this is my baby. This isn’t America’s baby."

Kate Upton Bikini Model Wears Swimsuit On Set Of 'The Other Woman'

Kate Upton slipped back into her staple uniform, a teeny bikini, while on the set of "The Other Woman" Wednesday.

Upton stunned in a white string bikini and sunglasses while filming in the Hamptons, N.Y. The supermodel showed off her ample curves walking along the sandy beach and splashing in the waves. She even got a smooch from co-star Nikolaj Coster-Waldau.

The is not the first time jaws have dropped over the 21-year-old recently. Last week, Upton bared major cleavage (and narrowly missed suffering a wardrobe malfunction) while bouncing around in an open gauzy top and lacy orange bra on set.

"The Other Woman," directed by Nick Cassavetes, is a comedy that centers on a woman (Cameron Diaz) who gets revenge on her cheating boyfriend (Coster-Waldau). After she finds out he is married and has another mistress on the side (Upton), she teams up with his wife (Leslie Mann) to get even. This is Upton's biggest film project to date, notes The Hollywood Reporter. She previously had small guest appearances in "The Three Stooges" and "Tower Heist."
