  • MiKandi Releases Google Glass Porn App, Then Discovers It Can't Use 'Sexually Explicit Material'

MiKandi, the "world's first and largest adult app store," released the first ever porn app for Google Glass on Monday morning. A dozen people have signed up for the suggestively named "Tits And Glass" app and thousands have viewed the app's website, according to MiKandi CEO Jesse Adams.

But apparently MiKandi wasn't aware of changes Google recently made to its terms of service. In an update to its blog, MiKandi writes that it now has make changes to the app so it doesn't interfere with Google's ban on "Glassware content that contains nudity, graphic sex acts or sexually explicit material."

Google's change in policy underscores its efforts to fiercely control Glass' reputation before its public release. Glass' unobtrusive recording capabilities have sparked many privacy concerns. At least one strip club has already banned Glass, and Preeti Upadhyaya of the Silicon Valley Business Journal has raised concerns about sexual consent in the Glass-wearing world.

The ban on "sexually explicit" content may limit what MiKandi can show to Glass users, but the company's CEO is still optimistic: "We are going to have to be really creative," Adams told ABC News. "There are tasteful and artful things we can do."

Abercrombie Protesters' Plight Highlights Brand's 'Exclusionary' Attitude

Heather Arnet was escorted into the Abercrombie & Fitch headquarters in New Albany, Ohio, flanked by her contingent of 16 teenage girls. It was late 2005, and they were there to voice their discontent about a series of shirts that the company had unleashed on the market with text celebrating skinny blonde teenage girls while deriding brunettes and less-slender figures.

The shirts in question: “I had a nightmare I was a brunette,” “Blondes are adored, brunettes are ignored,” “Do I make you look fat?” and more.

Once inside, the group of protesters walked through a sea of cubicles and past towering images of men and women locked in embraces. The girls looked around in awe, wondering how strange it would be to work each day permanently surrounded by such images. Then, they entered a windowless conference room to plead their case that the fashion brand not demean people who do not fit its version of cool.

Arnet left convinced that their mission was futile.

“What we witnessed in that room that was so tangible was how deep the culture really is at Abercrombie,” said Arnet, reflecting on the experience nearly eight years later. “The only person who seemed empowered in that building was white and male.”

In recent weeks, Abercrombie has been thrashed by consumers, activists and the media for refusing to stock larger sizes for female customers and for controversial remarks made by chief executive officer Mike Jeffries in a resurrected interview with Salon in 2006. Jeffries said at the time that his brand targets the “attractive all-American kid,” forcing the company to issue an apology.

“A lot of people don’t belong [in our clothes], and they can’t belong,” he told Salon. “Are we exclusionary? Absolutely.”

For Arnet, the chief executive officer of a Pennsylvania-based independent advocacy group called the Women and Girls Foundation, the current controversy feels familiar. In an interview with The Huffington Post this week, she described her own efforts to persuade Abercrombie executives to reexamine their values as a new set of activists are now heading to New Albany to discuss the retailer’s latest brush with protesters.

Abercrombie does have women in powerful positions at the top of its corporate hierarchy. Three of the four executive vice presidents at Abercrombie are women, along with two of the nine members of the company’s board of directors.

“Diversity and inclusion are key to our organization’s success,” reads a quote from Jeffries on the Abercrombie website. “We are determined to have a diverse culture, throughout our organization, that benefits from the perspectives of each individual.”

But the way Arnet recalls her experience, that official message is quickly undermined by the reality inside the company’s headquarters: At her meeting, the men in the room did nearly all the talking, while dismissing the protestors as people who couldn't take a joke. The two women present sat mostly silent, Arnet said. After the meeting, Arnet took away a clear message: Abercrombie was not interested in broadening its consumer base to those deemed uncool.

“The girls tried to push them to say whether they would move forward with this idea for a girl-empowering line,” said Arnet. “The A&F team declined to say anything specific or committal.”

When a bat flies toward them in the stands, this man leaves his woman to fend for herself

A husband at a Chicago Cubs game a few weeks ago tried to protect his wife from a home run ball hit in their direction. He spilled his beer on her in the process, so afterward she poured her beer over his head. That's one example of what happens when a flying object comes between a man and his counterpart at a baseball game.

What happened Monday night in Anaheim is another, very different example. Cue up the above video and you'll see Houston Astros batter J.D. Martinez hit a foul ball and lose grip of his bat, which flies toward a couple sitting in the front row. The man, choosing flight over fight, bolts to the aisle for safety. The woman sticks her arms out to avoid the bat hitting her right in the noggin. She was OK, no thanks to her date.

She laughed afterward and no beers were poured over anyone's head in public, so maybe 'twas all good? We can't say for sure what happened, though, when the two left the game. Maybe the woman chewed him out for not being protective enough. Or maybe she agreed with his "every man (or woman) for him/herself philosophy."

The Internet of course has its own opinions and — as is usually the case when something like this happens — has declared chivalry dead. I'm probably not alone on this: I'd rather take a beer bath trying to help out a lady than be the guy mocked online for caring only about himself. Of course, a baseball bat wasn't flying at me as I wrote this.

Kendall Jenner Bikini Kim's Little Sister Looks All Grown Up In New Model Shots

Kendall Jenner is back in a bikini, but this time it's for her day job.

Jenner is now officially a bikini model for Agua Bendita, a popular Colombian swimsuit brand that has appeared in the pages of Sports Illustrated and Maxim magazines. The 17-year-old stunner joins the likes of Candice Swanepoel, Marisa Miller, Bar Refaeli and Irina Shayk who have all modeled for the line.

In the glamorous ad, Jenner dons a ruffled floral bikini on her famously fit figure. The blossoming model liked the shot so much she made it the background of her Twitter profile.

Just a few weeks ago the brunette beauty said it's her dream to become a Victoria's Secret Angel someday. Her modeling has already impressed some current Victoria's Secret supermodels, like Lilly Aldridge and Adrianna Lima.

"She's so stunningly beautiful and has so much personality. I think that she definitely could be a future Angel," Aldridge told Celebuzz about the "Keeping Up With the Kardashians" star. "Just keep doin' whatcha doin' girl, 'cause you're doin' it good."

Lima thinks Kendall is a bit too young right now, but maybe in two years she will be ready. "She's definitely a beautiful, beautiful girl," said Lima, "and she's very talented. So, why not?"

Heath Ledger's Joker Diary Surfaces In Footage From German Documentary Series

A fascinating new video that may provide a brush of insight into Heath Ledger prior to his death has surfaced. In it, Ledger's father leafs through a diary his son kept for the Joker while filming the now-iconic role in "The Dark Knight."

The diary is an extensive portrait of what Ledger thought the Joker's mentality looked like, complete with elaborate entries, drawings and magazine clippings. The actor included imagery that features everything from old Batman comics to "A Clockwork Orange" photos. As Ledger's father discusses the diary, the Oscar his son won posthumously for the role sits nearby on the table.

The footage turned up on Reddit and appears to be a clip from a year-old episode of the German docuseries "Too Young To Die." The segment was titled "Heath Ledger: Favorite of the Gods."

The elder Ledger says the actor, who died of an accidental overdose at 28, was famous for poring himself over his characters and that he "locked himself up in a hotel room for weeks" in order to inhabit the Joker.

Team Obama's entire Middle East policy has failed and the problem is about to get worse

The Benghazi Report has condemned the State Department for “systemic failures and leadership and management deficiencies.” Four officials have resigned, and a few more lesser heads are likely to roll.  Secretary Clinton may have said she takes full responsibility, but she has successfully managed to avoid taking the blame. With the holidays fast approaching, she and senior White House officials can now wash their hands of the matter.

But the Benghazi report misses the point.  The events of September 11 are a symptom of a much larger problem -- the Obama administration’s entire Middle East policy has failed. And the problem is about to get much worse as the as yet unpunished but ascendant Al Qaeda and its affiliates contemplate what they might do next to attack Americans.

Less than two years ago, the entire region was at peace. Granted, it was an uneasy peace, but it’s a region where for thousands of years an uneasy peace was as good as it gets.  Granted, many countries were governed by dictators, but at least they were pro-American dictators.  Granted, some countries continually railed against Israel, but none of them were actually in a fighting war with Israel.

Fast forward to today. Everything has changed. The entire region is in upheaval.  With our help, Egypt has replaced a pro-American dictator with what promises to be an anti-American Muslim Brotherhood dictator and Islamist constitution. We helped Libyan rebels topple their dictator, yet their new government is has failed to consolidate control. They are cowed by Al Qaeda affiliated militias and couldn’t - or wouldn’t - prevent the Benghazi attack and assassinations of our diplomats.  Syria’s vicious civil war threatens to go from horrific to hellish as Al Qaeda sympathizers and Islamic extremists take over the rebel cause, chemical weapons go missing, and the ethno-sectarian violence spills over to infect Syria’s neighbors and threaten our NATO ally Turkey.  Iran is on the cusp of becoming a nuclear power and the dominant power in the region.  Any hopes that a post-Saddam Iraq would be a pro-American ally have vanished as Iraq falls increasingly into the Iranian orbit.  We will end up fighting our way out of Afghanistan, as it descends into multiparty civil war once the last American soldier takes the last helicopter out.   At best, countries will be governed by the anti-American Muslim Brotherhood.  At worst, chaos will ensue. Political and economic chaos  are waiting in the wings, and radical Islamists, terrorists and Al Qaeda expand their influence throughout the region.

Fake Lesbians React To Real Lesbian Porn

Warning: The above video may contain language and images that are not suitable for workplace or other sensitive environments)
A recent viral video, Davey Wavey's "Real Lesbians React to Lesbian Porn", shows what happens when real lesbians watch lesbian porn that is clearly made for straight men.

Jincey Lumpkin, founder and Chief Sexy Officer of Juicy Pink Box (Warning: Link is highly NSFW), a company which produces upscale, high-quality porn for lesbians, wanted women to know there is an alternative.

“While most lesbian adult films are vulgar gay-for-pay porn made to fulfill the fantasies of straight men," says Lumpkin, who also regularly blogs for The Huffington Post. "Our films are seductive and beautifully crafted cinema made for women who crave intense sensuality, soft caresses, and gentle seduction.”

So, in response to the "Real Lesbians React to Lesbian Porn" video, Lumpkin decided to create her own video, "Fake Lesbians React to Real Lesbian Porn." The video features subjects who are obviously not lesbians -- and even a drag queen -- watching and commenting on the Juicy Pink Box lesbian porn they are viewing.

Why a drag queen? “I threw in a drag queen because I think anything in life is better with a drag queen in it,” says Lumpkin.

Undetectable HIV Is It Stigmatizing Gay Sex

As Tyler Curry, founder of Needle Prick Project, recently wrote:

"An HIV-positive person can achieve undetectable levels after undergoing antiretroviral therapy (ART). A level of a person's HIV viral load is what causes them to be more or less likely to transmit the disease. An undetectable viral load reduces the likelihood of transmission by 96 percent. Once a person achieves an undetectable status, it is possible to remain at this level provided that the person is compliant with their ART medication."

But does the label "undetectable" help or harm discussions around gay sex and HIV?

That’s the question HuffPost Gay Voices Editor Noah Michelson discussed with Curry, Gawker’s Rich Juzwiak and My Fabulous Disease blogger Mark King on HuffPost Live.

“HIV-positive sexuality is still slightly demonized and that’s why we have to have these conversations,” Curry noted. “We don’t exist in two separate groups … I am not in any way advocating for condomless sex in the least.”

Added King: “I think there is a very real viral divide among gay men … please get tested if you’re a sexually man or woman, gay or straight.”

The New Season of 'Arrested Development' is Hard to Take. Why?

A second life on Netflix has become a mixed blessing for the creators of "Arrested Development" -- an unprecedented option with some unexpected burdens. Yes, Mitchell Hurwitz and company have had to contend with sky-high expectations that are all but impossible to meet as they've brought the show back after seven years off the air. But they're also now working in a medium stripped of many of the boundaries that originally shaped the series.

Netflix isn't network TV, a fact that goes beyond all 15 episodes going live at once. Installments don't need to keep to 22 minutes, or even be all that episodic; content restrictions are a thing of the past -- as are, if what was said about "House of Cards" continues to be the case here, notes from executives. Aside from dealing with the not-inconsiderable difficulties of scheduling the busy cast, Hurwitz was theoretically freed to make the purest version of "Arrested Development" he desired, and the result is an uneven, funny, ambitious, overlong and knotty tangle of individual storylines that form a whole that's darker and more brittle than expected. The Bluths are back, but time has not been kind.

The new episodes haven't gone over well with critics so far -- though having only been out for a few days, opinions seem worth sitting on for a little longer. As someone who came to the show after it was first canceled, I'll admit that it took some time to grow on me even in its friendlier Fox incarnation. And season four is not friendly, which may be the most difficult and most remarkable thing about it.

It's not that the 2013 version of the Bluths are unrecognizable. "Arrested Development" is nothing if not consistent to its own mythology, which may include stair cars and Motherboy competitions, but is just as involved, intricate and layered as that of a sprawling sci-fi saga, with jokes set up for and called back over years. But, unleashed to pursue their individual destinies with the oblivious self-centeredness and without the edict to be "likable" that the show used to mock in its third-season moments of metacommentary, the Bluths are no longer lovably awful but mostly just awful. Cornball moments, little or otherwise, have pretty much been cleared out.

The new season finds the Bluths and the Fünkes literally whoring each other out for cash, guilting each other into buying homes they can't afford in the midst of a community of sex offenders, sleeping with underage boys and sending addicts crashing back into drug use while cheerfully ignoring their pleas for help. And while the first three seasons made occasional gestures toward timeliness, as when George Sr. (Jeffrey Tambor) was tricked into building houses in Iraq, in season four the Bluths are more linked into farcical takes on current events.
