Ashley Greene In A Glamorous Blue Dress

Twilight" star Ashley Greene attended last night's Avon Foundation Awards Gala in a sleek blue asymmetrical gown. The bombshell brunette paired her dress with a black box clutch, black pumps and a sparkly ring (hmm...) on her left hand.

Fergie hosted the awards, which highlight the Avon Foundation's philanthropic efforts and promote fundraising for causes that are the most important to women, at the Marriott Marquis Times Square in New York.

First Interview In Australia, E! Cameras Stay Home

The upside of being a reality star is that it's possible to monetize every move you make, no matter how mundane or common it may be, especially if you're a Kardashian. The downside is that it means that every move you make is also fodder for intense public speculation, especially if you're a Kardashian. That family has televised and cashed in on so many aspects of their lives that it's now hard to tell just what their aim -- and sincerity level -- is following the news that Kim is divorcing Kris Humphries, but as the symbols of a new evolution (devolution?) in entertainment, it's certainly worth speculating about.

Following a day of "insiders" insisting to various news outlets that Kim is indeed upset about her divorce, and that her marriage was in no way a shame, Kim took to her blog to explain herself and express authenticity. Having let that marinate overnight, she's just given her first interview about the split, again promising true heartbreak.

"I don't think I'm ready to go into, you know, the details of what went on in my marriage," she told the interviewer. "But I do want to make clear that I would never marry for a TV show, for money, for anything like that. I think that's really ridiculous that I have to even defend that... I guess, you know, that comes along with when you film your wedding for a reality show."

Here's the thing: the interview took place at a radio station in Australia, where she flew yesterday to promote one of her many clothing lines. Not accompanying her on the trip? TV cameras from E!, the network that airs all of the Kardashians' programming. The executives at E! are allegedly in a bit of a state of panic; on Monday, they continued airing repeats of the highly successful wedding special that first broadcast on October 9th; according to the New York Times, the network had planned on ramping up repeat airings, with a graphic noting the impending divorce, but changed course at the last minute on Tuesday.

Still, the network defended their airing of the wedding at all, with network head Suzanne Kolb saying, "The program model of television doesn't exactly keep up with the life model of real people."

That's for sure. Later this month, they will be airing the next season of "Kourtney & Kim Take New York," which was filmed in September and October -- or, during the transition from Honeymoon period to breakdown.

How will those episodes do in the ratings? Will people tune in to see what went down, or will they be disgusted by the whole saga and avoid it? And going forward, what will E! be allowed to film? Without a doubt, they'll want to continue making new Kardashian shows (it is a shared lifeblood for the family and network), and so they'll have to capture some divorce proceedings. How real will it get?

'X-Factor' Rigged My Elimination With Deal

Former "The X Factor" contestant Dexter Haygood said he wasn't pushed off Fox's new singing contest. He jumped.
Haygood was among five contestants eliminated from the show last week. But the rock singer with the James Brown rasp said that what viewers saw didn't reflect the whole story, including a behind-the-scenes agreement to ensure the swift exit he wanted.
According to Haygood, 49, who was part of mentor-judge Nicole Scherzinger's group of age 30-plus contestants, he told Scherzinger two days before last Wednesday's live performance show that he was dissatisfied with "X Factor."
"I wanted to leave the show because I was unhappy that I was unable to be a rock artist. I grew up on rock," said Haygood, of Memphis, Tenn., who enjoyed the spotlight in the 1980s as frontman for the rock group Xavion, which toured at one point with Hall & Oates.
Being called on to do pop songs such as Beyonce's "Crazy in Love" and Katy Perry's "I Kissed a Girl" was aggravating, Haygood said: "Can you imagine Steven Tyler, Mick Jagger, James Brown, doing (the `Crazy in Love' chorus) `uh oh uh oh uh'?"
Producers "seemed to have their way of doing things. I'm not sure why they wouldn't let me be me," he said Tuesday.
Scherzinger, former member of the Pussycat Dolls, took his complaint to the show's producers and came back the same day with an offer, according to Haygood: He would be bounced on Thursday's results show if he agreed to return for the season finale.

Jersey Shore' Complaints And Cash Concerns

Though she's one of the world's biggest reality TV stars, Snooki insists that her public image is more fictional projection than an actual reflection of her personality. So when you see her partying all day and night, drunk with her famous roommates and making memories by the half hour installment, just know that there's a different girl on the other end of that camera.

In a new interview with GQ -- what she calls her first "real" interview -- the pint sized reality star/WWE diva/pitchwoman teases a different side of Snooki, revealing the things that "Jersey Shore" doesn't put on air, and what she would show if she were in charge.

"I wouldn't show as much drinking and partying," she tells the magazine. "I would show more of us chilling out and having a good time -- which they don't show. We don't even drink those nights, but we laugh all night. They don't show anything but us drinking and hooking up."

    But why?!

"I don't know. Maybe because of the success of the show they think that if they don't show us drinking and hooking up then it wouldn't stay successful, but I think that if they showed the sober side of us people would like it even more and it'd even change people's minds about us," she says.

Still, the show has offered her some financial opportunities that wouldn't come with a calm, happy show. She made $750,000 last year, according to The Daily Beast, and she's not being extravagant with her cash... unlike one of her co-stars.

Emma Stone, Sean Penn On 'The Gangster Squad' Set

Emma Stone flashes her devious eyes at the camera as paparazzi snap photos of her on the set of her latest film "The Gangster Squad."
Emma and her co-star, Sean Penn, look glamorous in the scene, as they exit their car and are swarmed by waiting members of the press. The film, set in the 1940s, stars Sean, as real life mobster Mickey Cohen, Emma and her "Crazy Stupid Love" co-star, Ryan Gosling.
